Dry and crisp with a honey-like aroma, fruity taste and clean aftertaste. Pike Dry Wit is a superb summer beer which we encourage you to garnish with a slice of fruit, like an orange or peach. This beer has a very light mouthfeel due to wheat in the grain bill. Pike Dry Wit is traditionally spiced with coriander, orange peel and a touch of lavender.

KajII (801) - Macon, North Carolina, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Bottle. The pour was a hazy brownish yellow with a large (2-3 finger) white frothy head that was mostly diminishing, down to a small cap which produced some fair spotty lacing. The aroma was mild of a light grain malt and a sweaty Belgian yeast with notes of honey, citrus (lemon), pears, wheat and a bit of coriander. The taste was lightly sweet with a moderate dose of wheat and honey early on, progressing into a much yeastier flavor that had a strong citrus presence and a touch of spice at the end. The flavor lingered for an average amount of time after the swallow with a slight watery feel and a yeasty citrus taste left behind. Mouthfeel was light ion body and watery in texture with an almost flat carbonation. Overall an OK Witbier with a mildly light body and taste, that along with the low ABV makes this a good brew for a hot summers day when you feel like not getting blotted and having more than just a few...

Bottle; poured a gold color with a white head. Aroma of wheat, orange and touch of spice. Flavor was dry and wheaty. A bit mild in orange notes and a mild dose of spice. Decent for the style

Bottle from Total wine sterling. Pours golden with a thin white head. Has a nice orange thing on the nose. Very crisp on the tongue. Full of flavor. Finishes clean. Very solid for style.

Pours practically no head on a cloudy medium straw colored body. The aroma is nice: orange, banana and honey. The taste is pleasant fruit forward with a nice dry lemon bitter coming through the middle to end. The spices are nice too. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. Enjoyable for a witbier.

Appearance: bottle artwork is way too busy; pours deep orange gold (dark, for a wit) with a whitish rocky, fizzy head and average lacing. Aroma:citrus, coriander, buckthorn, some spicy hops, yeast, and wheat thin crackers. Taste: as the aroma indicates, with some honeyed sweetness and slightly herbal, slightly funky bitterness; is this a brett beer on the down low?. Finish: the finish is very fast, almost like a door slamming; again, makes me think it’s a brett beer. Notes: Not a bad witbier. A fine take on the style.

Hazy yellow pour with a white head. The aroma is wheat, lemons, limes and coriander. The flavor is wheat, lemons, coriander and lime. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Nice looking, tan and pretty clear with some rising bubbles and a nice, lasting white head that left nice lacing. Aroma is spicy, coriander and citrus, lemon peel, a little wheat and some yeast. Flavor is again spicy, a bit more like a wheat beer but with nice citrus, coriander, and just a touch of bubble gum. Body is light and carbonation is smooth and mild. Very easy to drink. An enjoyable witbier. I bought three different Pike bombers today because I’ve really liked their beers so far. Nothing changed here, still good stuff in my book.

On tap at Pike brewing pub, seattle. Average Belgian White... Nice taste, but nothing special...

Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. Pour is very clear. Light golden color with a small ring of white head. Aroma is slightly skunked, dry grains, light citrus. Flavor is grainy and very bitter. Dry flavors with maybe a hint of citrus. Unimpressed.
