On the palate Harlot’s Harvest is round and rich with a burst of caramel and molasses yielding a smooth sweetness reminiscent of pumpkin pie, and the boldness of a Belgian, monastic-style, strong dark ale. Savor it naked or clothed in the bounty of the season! To dress it appropriately, Charles Finkel designed the seductive label.

22 oz bottle from Chuck’s 85th. Pours dark reddish amber with a thin head. Aroma is sweet and tart cinnamon and nutmeg. Nice rich dark roasty malts followed by sweet pumpkin pie notes. Just a slight sour hint on the finish. One of the darker, more ’winter beer - like’ of the pumpkin beers I’ve had. Great pumpkin pie flavor without being cloyingly sweet or syrupy.

Tankard and Tun, Seattle. Soapy head, clear dark copper brown. Lots of pumpkin spice, cinnamon and clove. Clean dark malt. Fairly crisp. Banana bread flavors dominate. Fair.

Pours a deep brown on tap with bubbly tan head that leashes light lace. Aroma of nice pumpkin pie spice and mild sweet malt. Taste follows, a hint of today and fruity esters in there. It's a solid pumpkin beer with the booze well hidden, but unexciting.

Bomber. Aroma of spice, cinnamon, lots of clove. Taste is pumpkin pie, including the whipped cream. Delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured a deep maroon brown from bottle. Probalby my favorite pumpkin beer of the 2016 season. Good blend of dark ale malts and pumpkin/cnnamon. I know it’s cliched but really does taste like pumpkin pie

Medium brown, amber accents. No head. Light body, touch of gourd and dark sugars, but thin. Touch spicy towards the finish.

20/XI/15 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle @ home - BB: n/a, but bought only 3 weeks ago at the brewery (2015-1632) Thanks to Mathieu and Barbara for picking this one up for me!

Clear purple brown beer, small creamy beige to brown head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: lots of overripe banana, sweet, spicy, cloves, cinnamon, gingerbread. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of cloves, spices, sweet, caramel, bit sugary. Aftertaste: very spicy, lots of cloves, bit sweet, soft bitterness, way too spicy.

Draught at the Pike Brewing Co, Seattle, WA. Dark reddish brown color with a small tan head. Coke, spices and Dr. Pepper in the aroma. The flavor is spices, sweetness, malt and pumpkin. Quite tolerable pumpkin ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My favorite season is finally upon us. Drinking beers like this is a very happy reminder. Beer is proof of a lot of good things. Draft pour at the brewery in their signature tulip glass. Pours a red tinted black with a tan ring head. Rich caramel and smooth pumpkin aroma. Matching flavor. I don’t rate them nearly enough, but I love these pumpkin beers. I think this year will be an up year for them for me, and I couldn’t have started much better. Awesome beer.

Tap, brewery. Pours a clear very dark brown body with a small foamy beige head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is a mix of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, dark caramel, and light chocolate and roasted malts. Sweet, but it smells quite delicious. The flavor is a touch too much spice-centric, but not crazy. Nice sweet caramel and vanilla base with fairly hefty pumpkin meat and caramel maltiness. An almost marshmallow like sweetness on the back end. Mouthfeel is sticky and sweet with some clingy caramel on the finish. Fine fizzy carbonation. Decent effort, I like the darker caramel malt focus.
