The Aroma has a malty side for an IPA. There is an brown/orange appearance. A balance between bitter and sweet. the texture is pretty thin with a good amount of carbonation. As a Seattlite this beer is from a well known brewery that has a location at the Pike Place Market hence the name. It is a good seattle beer and I wouldn’t be reluctant to order a pint when available. solidfunk (9734) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JAN 2, 2016
Very old school style IPA. All malt here. Pours dark amber with decent head and lacing. Light tangy finish, some light citrus. Lots of mash malt vibe in aftertaste. Tap sampled at Alaska Lodge at SEATAC. haddon90 (1634) - Newport Beach, California, USA - OCT 31, 2015

Listed at 62 IBU.
Hazy deep golden to copper color, white head. Slight butterscotch, caremel, bitter, herbal taste. Bitter, floral stems aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Fruity, floral, hoppy scent.
Appearance: clear pale amber with a fat finger of light tan head, good retention and moderate patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: pine, caramel/toffee malt, light citrus, light diacetyl. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderately strong bitter. (6/10) Palate: medium slightly oily body, moderate carbonation, lingering bitter finish. (3/5)
A fairly pedestrian A/IPA. Yes, it’s bitter, and there’s a fairly good balance between the mildly dark malt and the slightly dank bitterness. But the hops don’t have a lot of character other than bitterness - no real brightness or pop. It definitely tastes every inch the 60 IBU the bottle claims - but it isn’t very interesting in the process. (12/20) deyholla (12588) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 5, 2015
On tap at 12th Man. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of bread and toffee with a bit of resinous pine coming through. Flavor is more balanced with pine and sweet bread with a touch of toffee underlying.
