Pours a light golden hue with a very small head for what claims to be a tripel. Nice, spicy-sweet, fruity aroma, very true to the style. Yeasty, peppery flavor makes up for some of what it lacks in carbonation - this is definitely an American attempt at a Belgian brew, but I like it. Full mouthfeel, and a big flavor, with a malty aftertaste I liked a lot. For a bomber that cost less than $5, this is great... but in the grand scheme of things, it’s merely good. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - MAY 1, 2009
Slight haze to the brilliant gold, tall fluffy head. Strong complex aroma of wet horse, liquid candy and dry wheat. I cannot think of any other domestic tripel that smells this true. There’s a seawater saltiness here, along with more dry wheat. Very much enjoyed. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - MAR 29, 2009

Aroma: Big Belgian aroma with a good amount if spices to smell.
Appearance: Amber in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Full malt brew with a nice fruit flavor to add. This was complex with good yeast.
Palate: Dry Belgian finish, with a good Mouthfeel.
Overall: The triple was complex with a good amount of yeast and added spices and fruit flavors. This was a fine brew.
This rather dissappoints from the beginning. Looks good - hazy gold with a low head--but one whiff and you know this didn’t come from the Old World. Sugary sweet body and a lots of yeast notes with a peppery end--what you’d expect from the flavor profile of a tripel. So they got that right. But the balance is off--too sweet, and the flavors themselves aren’t authentic. kiefdog (1826) - Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 17, 2008
Bottle courtesy of Ibrew2or3. Pours a clear golden color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of syrup, caramel, nuts, flowers, toffee--typical belgian tripel aroma. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of caramel, some ripe fruit, prunes, apples and and maybe just a hint of citrus. Generally medium body with a sweet finish.

Thanks Ibrew2or3 for the share. Pours a clear gold with a nose of tart apple, pear, honey, and floral notes. Flavor is hops, some funk, and fruitiness. Fruit stays around for a little bit. Not bad. Ibrew2or3 (8743) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - DEC 4, 2008
Pours clear brilliant gold with thin white head. The aroma has full notes of sugary malts, apple, light colored fruits and some flower pedals. The taste begins with a pulse of sweet and roasty malts followed by apricots and apples and moving toward harsher fruit notes. It then returns back to roastiness into the finish. afterglow (1047) - Florida, USA - NOV 30, 2008
Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a one finger white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of sweet pilsner malt, light fruits, and spicy yeast. Taste is the same as aroma with floral hops. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Decent argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 30, 2008
(22oz bottle, thanks Ibrew2or3) Small white head atop lightly hazed light amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, fruity (peach, some prune, light melon). Taste is moderately sweet, fruit, straw. In my book, not dry enough for the style. Medium-full body, some stickiness. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - OCT 21, 2008
(Draught) Pours a hazy golden body with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, clove, light citrus, and candi sugar. Flavor of yeast, coriander, dough, candi sugar, and a touch of honey.
