Bomber from Total Wine South Richmond. Pours a very dark brown color with a large brown head. Good head retention. Aroma of chocolate, nuts, mild roast. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, nutty notes, mild hops. Thin-medium bodied. A bit too sweet, but overall solid. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Bottle. Pours a near-black color with a smallish light tan head. Nose is quite roasty. Taste is a little roasty as well with just a hint of a sweet finish on it. Very interesting. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - APR 19, 2013
Draft at the brewery. Pours black with a dense and creamy dark tan head. Mild chocolatey roasty nose. Creamy thick body. Soft carb. Roasty, chocolatey mid palate. Long dry finish. Very approachable and enjoyable, but pretty dialed back.

Contains what I’m looking for in this style. Moderate roastiness, lots of caramel, coffee, some chocolate. Not too viscous. Not one to blow the drinker away, but gosh darn I love a well made porter. Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - OCT 10, 2012
Malt forward aroma, caramel, and dark fruit . Pours black with a aggressive, mostly diminishing tan head and minor lacing. Taste is malt, coffee, caramel, hints of chocolate and a nice hoppy bitterness at the end. Medium-full bodied with mild carbonation. Smooth. Overall, I found this to be a very smooth and enjoyable porter. robforbes (2243) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - AUG 21, 2012
