Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are caramel, roast malt, coffee, chocolate and hops. bhensonb (15234) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 31, 2012
Bomber from Malt and Vine. 6.0% ABV; 32 IBU. Pours very dark brown with a foamy 3 finger dark beige head. Aroma is a watery sort of chocolate - hints of sour over dark roast malt. Med body. A very decent non-imperialized porter. Imperialization is starting to slant my ratings towards high ABV. Inappropriate in this instance. It’s a damn good plain porter. Chocolate and dark roast malt thru into the finish. Drake (13739) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Bomber from Total Wine South Richmond. Pours a very dark brown color with a large brown head. Good head retention. Aroma of chocolate, nuts, mild roast. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, nutty notes, mild hops. Thin-medium bodied. A bit too sweet, but overall solid. Dogbrick (13019) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 3, 2012
Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. Brownish-black pour with a medium light tan head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and mild coffee. Light to medium body with a sweet roasty malt character and notes of coffee and chocolate. The finish is sweet with a toasted malt aftertaste. Decent all around. olio (10289) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 16, 2012

Pours deep dark red, almost black color with medium thick head. Aroma of mild ripe fruits, some dijon-like mustard, dry chocolate, dark malts and vanilla notes. Flavour of vanilla, some coffee, dark malts, dry chocolate, dark fruits and spice notes. Smooth chocolaty palate.
Bottle from Beer Revolution. Pours dark brown with a thick tan head and a chocolate and treacle aroma. There is a medium-bodied chocolate and dark molasses flavor with a dry finish. onceblind (9699) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 1, 2014
Black pour under a lasting light tan head. The nose smells of biscuity cocoa, light tobacco notes and a hint of coffee. The flavor is a bit light but subtly roasty and a little sweet with some dark earthy chocolaty tones. Pretty nice but just a little too light. And I love how it smells almost exactly like the mustache wax from Men’s Face Stuff. laiti (8481) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 17, 2012
Draught at Brouwer’s Cafe, Seattleafter4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - APR 19, 2013
Aroma is roasted with coffee and chocolate. Flavour is slightly sour with licorice and some coffee. A bit straightforward but nice.
Draft at the brewery. Pours black with a dense and creamy dark tan head. Mild chocolatey roasty nose. Creamy thick body. Soft carb. Roasty, chocolatey mid palate. Long dry finish. Very approachable and enjoyable, but pretty dialed back. Iphonephan (6989) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - SEP 29, 2013
From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours black with a tan head. Roasted malt nose. Flavors of licorice and chocolate. Mildly bitter finish. Very nice Porter.
