Lemongrass, funk, and persimmon nose. Hints of marshmallow also discernible. Hazy amber, thick cream colored sticky head. Grapefruit, lemongrass, and funk. Orange peel at midpalate and beyond. There’s even a malty presence. Alcohol well concealed. Multi-dimensional and very well balanced, nice intensity. West coast saison if there is such a thing. Fantastic! malrubius (2927) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - NOV 23, 2014
Bottle from total Wine. Pale hazy copper with lasting head and lace. Floral fruity lemon pastry aroma. Medium tropical fruit sweetness with spicy peppery citrus bitterness and very dry finish. Soft carbo and light body. This beer was made for my personal tastes. Wicked fuckin excellent. onceblind (9867) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 1, 2014
Clear golden under a sticky and lasting foamy white head. Earthy floral and funky nose with hay and white flowers, leafy hops, and freshly milled wheat. Flavor is bright and full and fun with wheat and hay and oats and bright fruity tones like clementine and pear and guava and an earthy kiwi. Very tasty saison worthy of competing with any saison from Denver or Belgium. Braudog (6763) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - AUG 28, 2012
Bottle. Heck of a pour ... golden, crystal-clear amber with nice inviting bubbles, the head a white, craggy, rocky pile of foam. The beer gives off a nice yeasty nose. It drinks with a nice fruity, yeasty, hoppy ... everything ... character. Piles of flavors in this, yet still simply sweet and enjoyable. Nice stuff. Bomber courtesy of BeerandBlues2 (thanks Brad!) poured a clear gold with a lasting off white head. Aromas of straw, grapefruit, light lemon zest and a hint of pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, grapefruit, lemon zest, light spice and a hint of pine with a crisp dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

Smells estery, yeasty and fruity (raspberry and pear notes) and there is a very slight metallic smell. Pours a golden colour, looks highly carbonated and clear. White finger width head.
Complex flavour, sweet and bitter, like grapefruit peel, hints of raspberry, strawberry, spices, grass and pear. Lack the funk that is usually present with saisons.
Medium body, sweet to begin with, creamy in the middle, a bit bitter near the end and slightly astringent to finish.
Perhaps this is a little too refined for a saison, no haze, clear taste, no funk and really amazing flavour. The bitter finish leaves you feel like you just are grapefruit peel, which is all. Would fault this beer for. bhensonb (15345) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 12, 2012
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy dark gold with a 3 finger creamy/foamy tan head. Lots of hop. Seems floral and resin. Earthy as well. Med + body. Starts with lots of hop. Many types, but they leave with bubble gum behind. Then it goes earthy, fruity citrus. This stuff suggests Belgian, but has really cool hops. And it is earthy beneath it all. Delicious, brilliant, effing great ale. Complex to me. hayduke (5572) - Eureka, California, USA - FEB 14, 2016
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. It poured a hazy rich gold with a really robust off-white head the looked like whipped cream. Or maybe shaving cream as Dave suggested .Very thick lacing . Medium in body with a lively mouth feel. The flavor is complex with floral hops, citrus hops, and a lot of earth. The finish is very earthy and brett appears. A really tasty beer with lots of flavor and good saison funk. Loved it

Pours clear dark golden color with white head. Lemon and grass aroma with some yeast. Grassy and doughy aroma with some lemons and a hint of biscuit malts. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. poisoneddwarf (2569) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - NOV 7, 2012
Bomber. Pours hazy copper with a large cream-colored head with great retention; leaves decorative lacework. Aroma is hoppy for a saison--woodsy, piney, floral, perfumey hops. Taste is more in line with the category. Along with the prominent aforementioned hops, Belgian yeast and an earthiness are noticeable. It starts out lightly sweet before becoming quite bitter. Mouthfeel is creamy. Pretty good.
