Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. I rolled the bottle and plenty of sediment resulted. Just short of a gusher. Lemon and saison notes in the aroma with spices and a little pepper. Fruit. First sip brings a good bit of funk, wet hay, and complex fruit. Barnyard stuff. Brett and earth. This is flavorful and enjoyable. Lemony undertones. A little sugar in the finish and then citrus and tropical fruit hops. This one keeps you guessing.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. It poured a hazy rich gold with a really robust off-white head the looked like whipped cream. Or maybe shaving cream as Dave suggested .Very thick lacing . Medium in body with a lively mouth feel. The flavor is complex with floral hops, citrus hops, and a lot of earth. The finish is very earthy and brett appears. A really tasty beer with lots of flavor and good saison funk. Loved it

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Hazy golden, lasting white head. Lovely grassy hop and bready yeast profile, light malts, yeasty finish. A great hoppy saison.

20/XI/15 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle @ home - BB: n/a, but bought only 3 weeks ago at the brewery (2015-1630) Thanks to Mathieu and Barbara for picking this one up for me!

Clear blond beer, creamy irregular yellowish head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: dry, herbal, bit grassy, citrus, floral touch, nothing sweet though, some coriander. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, grassy, bitter touch, coriander, dry. Aftertaste: bitter, hoppy, grassy, some coriander, spicy, fruity touch, banana, very good saison, a very nice style example, well done!

Bottle at tderoeck's place. Light sour, yeasty, light hops, fair enough, koryander which makes me dislike.

UXO (1922) - CANADA - OCT 6, 2015
Appearance: cloudy pale amber with two fingers of rocky white head, excellent retention and good lacing. (4/5) Aroma: dry yeasty citrus, floral, grainy malt, grassy, white pepper. (7/10) Taste: low sweet, moderately strong bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate duration slightly funky finish. (3/5) Nice somewhat hoppy farmhouse-style saison - very Franco-Belgian in style, with a dry citrus/floral yeast flavour reminiscent of Dupont or De Ranke. The low sweetness allows the funky hoppy bitter to shine through, making it seem like more than the 55 IBU the bottle claims. Much better than their IPA. (15/20)

650ml brown bottle. Yellow colour, haze. Pillowy white cap. Aromas of grass yeast, spice and bread. Taste - sweet bready malt, citrus, grass, spice. Lingering hops and yeast in the aftertaste. Lots of bitterness. Good mouthfeel. Quite impressed with this beer.

I really enjoyed this brew. Pours a glowing coppery orange with a thick, fizzy yellowish head. The aroma is complex, spicy and hopped up with citrus throughout. Beautiful sweet toasted malts, saison yeast is impeccable with a heavy bitterness to balance out well. Light black pepper, coriander and grassy notes. Yum

650ml bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with a huge white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is lemon and yeast with some hints of banana and spice. Taste is a light fruity and malty sweetness with a lemon tartness and a dry yeasty finish. Light to medium bodied with abundant carbonation that pleases the palate. Overall, this is a well made brew that seems to be nicely balanced and flavorful. Recommended.
