Solid IPA. High bitterness. Not a sprightly mouthfeel, but has substance to it. Good zing. Hop notes lean more towards resin. Recommended. Luvystypotables (2099) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - JUL 9, 2014
Aroma of floral hops and citrus blossoms. Great looking beer amber with a lasting well laced head. Taste of grapefruit dried fruit with a creamy feel and a bitter finish. tiong (7745) - Espoo, FINLAND - JUN 10, 2014
Draught @ The Pike Brewing Co, Seattle, WA50belair (3697) - Florida, USA - JUN 8, 2014
Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of crisp malts, grassy hops, pine and resin. Taste is grassy, crisp and hoppy with some citrus and pine. Finish is crisp and bitter with some hoppiness. Okay.
On tap at the brewpub. Milky burnt orange pour with a white head. Pine and resin hop aromas. Taste follows suit. A bit one dimensional with mineral lowlights. A bit unbalanced. Average body and mouthfeel. MarinEvelyn (852) - Wisconsin, USA - JUN 6, 2014

Unclear dark orangey amber. Big frothy creamy white lasting head. Aroma towards fruity and sweet, a little spicy. Bigger light body. Flavor is grapefruit orange floral grass pine biscuit. Nice moderate grassy, pine and grapefruit bitterness which lingers. Hop forward with just enough malt to balance. Really comes together nicely. Good stuff. Tonight’s live beer review.
Obviously, its an AIPA, guess what glass. Good guess - yes a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice golden amber color with a decent one finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace leaving a decent amount of lacing sticking to the glass.
The smell was a nice balance of bitter piney hops to some malts.
The taste was slightly bitter but also slightly sweet - it tried to combine, but honestly it didn’t for the most part. There was a slight bitter aftertaste but there wasn’t any finish.
On the palate, it sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable aspect to it. The carbonation actually finished a bit smoother than most AIPA’s I’ve had, but honestly, I didn’t mind that so much.
Overall, I say this was a good AIPA for the most part. I’m glad I had it and would certainly pick it up again most likely for pizza night. onceblind (10889) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 1, 2014
Slightly hazy golden under a sticky and lasting foamy white head. Nose is lightly piney with an earthy lightly woody note and just a little dank-ness. Flavor is balanced and pale malty with some piney resins and a touch of leafy floral hops. Some light gold cereal grains a and a bitter-boozy ester round out the finish. kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 14, 2014
Tap. Pours a hazy golden body with a small frothy off-white head, a bit of lacing remained. The nose is a touch buttery with some light piney hops and some light caramel malt. No butter on the flavor though. Just bitter citrusy hops over a dry biscuity malt base. A light touch of alcohol. Pretty well done Pale IPA. Light to medium bodied, dry finish, with fizzy carbonation. Nice lengthy bitter finish. Pretty nice effort, is this the new IPA style? Ibrew2or3 (8913) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - APR 11, 2014
22oz bomber pours with a clear copper body that supports a nice looking bright white head. The aroma offers up some mango, resiny pine and faint sweet citrus like gummy bear candy flowing into a bit of caramel to an almost buttery diacetyl note. The taste begins with a pleasing hop bitterness from pine and grapefruit like hops and some mango like fruitiness in the background. There is a mild caramel malt note that distracts a bit from the experience. Overall this is pretty good and it has a firm degree of hop resiny bitterness that is working pretty well with the sweeter juicy hop flavor notes.
