Bomber from Total Wine in Orlando, $3.99. Poured jet black with a decent brown head. Left a lot of lace. Aroma of deep roasted malts and some chocolate. A touch of raisin and mild smoke as well. Flavors consist of roasted malts, and smoke. A subtle fruity sourness blended into the espresso bitter finish.Super smooth and medium mouthfeel, good carbonation. For the cost of this bomber I was expecting much less. What a pleasant surprise. I bought three bombers of other beers from this same brewery. I am now looking forward to them immensely.

I remember drinking this beer back in college when I first started my craft beer journey. Pours opaque black, medium creamy tan head, dispatching slowly with good lacing. Aroma of dark roasted malt, Baker's cocoa, molasses, hint of chicory, ash. Flavors is light sweet, medium plus bitter that lingers into the far finish. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Pretty solid straight stout. Welcome change from the pastry variety (all though full disclosure I love those too).
Black, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts. Malty flavour, light bitter. Malty finish, roasted malts, dark bread crust and burned caramel. Decent, but too roasty for me.jbruner (5274) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - SEP 6, 2017
(from 65cL bottle @ RBBSG '17. Thanks for sharing, hamirubi!)
Pours a deep brownish black on tap with bubbly tan brown head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of mild chocolate and earthy roast, a touch of burnt coffee. Taste is smoother, good roast, good chocolate, good earthy hop, mild fruity yeast. A solid stout. 77ships (11026) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 28, 2017
Thanks to Hamirubi! 650 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG17. Black, little head. Nose is herbal cacao, chocolate, overly roasted malt. Thick herbal cacao, chocolate, heavy roast, low burned malts,… Bitter cacao bodied. Too roasted for me & not as thick as you would hope, expected more from a beer that is top 50 in its style.

Sampled @ RBBSG 2017. Opaque pitch black color, average sized beige to brown head. Aroma and flavor is malts, dark malts, some roast, malt bitter, milk chocolate. Nice! ! TimE (6121) - Tokyo, JAPAN - AUG 19, 2017
Pitch black color. Thin brown head with notes of coffee, molasses, caramel, dark chocolate in the nose. The mouth starts rich, dry, with lots of roasted malt and dark chocolate character. A bit too acrid for my liking. Solid bitter finish with dark chocolate notes. OK, but didn’t match my expectations. ILoooveBeer (1) - California, USA - AUG 10, 2017 does not count
Bottle purchased locally in Seattle Aug. 2017. This beer is delicious. It’s quite dark, strong, chocolate/coffee taste and despite a 7.0% ABV it’s easy to drink. I will DEFINITELY have this again.
