3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml, 2014 vintage. This held up quite well considering how low the ABV was. Rum and oak aroma with notes of chocolate, dark fruit and vanilla. Pours dark brown with a large mocha brown head that burns of quickly leaving little retention but good lacing. Starts with sweet dark fruit and chocolate flavors to go along with a medium body and slick mouthfeel. Finishes smooth with rum, oak and vanilla flavors with a little bit of booze that warms at the end. Pretty nice for being almost 3 years old.
