750ml, 2014 vintage. This held up quite well considering how low the ABV was. Rum and oak aroma with notes of chocolate, dark fruit and vanilla. Pours dark brown with a large mocha brown head that burns of quickly leaving little retention but good lacing. Starts with sweet dark fruit and chocolate flavors to go along with a medium body and slick mouthfeel. Finishes smooth with rum, oak and vanilla flavors with a little bit of booze that warms at the end. Pretty nice for being almost 3 years old. Concealer (1247) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 11, 2014
750 ml bottle. Clear dark brown pour with a thick tan head that lasts and laces. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruit, light rum and light tart fruit underlying. Flavor is roasted malt, chocolate, subtle rum and vanilla; as the beer warms it develops a slightly boozey end. Medium bodied, smooth; lingering roasted malt and chocolate.
