12 oz can. Pours a thin of medium, well retained, off white head, over a slightly hazy, effervescent yellow (SRM 3) body......nose is heavy spice, with clove tones, moderate esters with citrus orange, slight lemon, malts are light, no hops.....taste is mildly sweet, moderate esters, with light orange, mild pear, hints of banana, light malts, mild spice with slight clove tones becoming almost dry, with hints of a hop bitter finish......mouth feel, light of medium body, alcohol present, moderate carbonation. This beer has several minor flaws for the style stated on the can of a Belgian Golden Ale. The body is slightly hazy and does not have good clarity, the aroma lacks adequate hops, and the bitter finish is too low. It is a bit jumbled in both aroma and flavor. It is an easy drinking beer, but should be somewhat cleaner. A change of yeast might be a major help. BJCP 6/2/10/4/6

Can at Old Chicago -Lakewood. Sweet malt prevails, aroma and taste. Slick , fake banana flavor, candy sweet kind of over the top. A bit too much...

12 oz. can. Pale gold color, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is butterscotch, some herbal notes, peaches, white sugar, and caramel. Sweet, with a mild, pleasant bitterness. Medium to heavy body, creamy, and nicely effervescent. This is a pretty well done, yeast-forward blonde. Fruity and sweet, but with a good subtle spice and hopping.

An okay belgian strong. More sweet than spicy and the earthy graininess I usually like in this style is largely absent. Gift from Brian from Christmas, 2015.

Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like strong grapefruit and lemon hops, resin, and cruity yeast. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like yeast, musky hops, and light fruity sweetness.

Can. Head is initially very small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers), with light notes of detergent, gum, pepper, squash. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic. Aroma is a mix of pleasant and unpleasant, the off notes (mainly the soap) almost ruin it completely. Sweet but not punishingly so, mostly drinkable. Lighter bodied than the ABV would suggest, but kinda flabby/watery too. Overall mediocre but the recipe itself has some potential...more experienced hands could probably make a really nice rendition outta this.

Bubblegum, clove, and light citrus aroma. Looks like Bud Light...thinking of swapping it on one those unfortunate souls that won't drink anything else. Fairly sweet to start, then a hint of spiciness before a slight alcohol finish - but not a dry finish. Very light bodied and clean throughout.
