Draft. Kind of a flat pour, no real head. Thin dark brown appearance. Roast, huge dark coffee aroma. Taste is chocolate, bitter espresso, vanilla. Dry, bitter chocolate finish. Goes nice with a double espresso on the side. onceblind (9686) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 29, 2014
Pours out black with only a very thin light tan head that becomes a ring around the edge of the glass. The aroma strikes as a cold toddy with a light creaminess and a hint of earthy cocoa. The flavor is roughly the same. Has that intrinsic cold coffee flavor with some earthy roast and a light creamy cocoa undertone. Finishes with a quiet cold coffee roast flavor. Overall pleasing but not the best coffee porter of my life. But it at least has a large and pleasing portion of coffee. Ratman197 (14842) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - APR 6, 2014
On tap at Pikes Peak poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of coffee, roasted malt and light bakers cocoa. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of coffee, roasted malt and cocoa with a smooth lingering coffee finish.
