3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at The Railway, Putney. Dark orange, clear, still, minimal bubbly white head. Aroma is resin, woody, lightly floral. Body is medium, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is tangerine, toffee, yellow plum and green raisin, touch of Christmas cake in the sweet finish. It’s alright - a bit sweet and lifeless.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer had a really nice citrus hop aroma and flavour, but was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of H2S present.
It was however, smooth and easy drinking.
Crisp bitterness and moderately astringent.

Half, shared with Finn, from gravicask. Clear, dark brown body with a shiny surface. Earth and chocolate malts to the nose. Malt-fruity flavour. Rounded bittersweet tail. Above the average level, more or less (Redhill Beer Festival, 02.11.2012).
