Pint at Shilling Brew Co., Glasgow. Pours a slightly hazy gold with short lived head. Nose is quiet, malt, clean, Taste is more malt than anything, not much lager character. Palate is clean and pleasant. A bit humdrum to be honest. Stuartyboy (1668) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - JAN 2, 2017

One of my favourite beers. A full bodied pale ale, nice dark golden appearance. Fruity aroma with a biscuity background. Good malt flavours and a lasting finish.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - London. Pours unclear amber with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds toasted biscuits, pine, orange rind. Light sweet flavour with further rindy citrus, lightly toasted grains, piney bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fi sines with a little piney resin, more grainy and lightly toasted malts, orange peel. Really enjoyable beer. Heidbummer (649) - SCOTLAND - APR 10, 2016
A good pale ale. Pours gold, mid density head which persists. Not much nose/ Bitter, dry, hops, vanilla on the taste. Holds its flavour to the bottom of the pint. Another decent pale from pilot. Sessionable. MalcolmTucker (924) - SCOTLAND - JAN 25, 2016

Keg at the Constitution, Leith. Dark gold/copper, clear with very little head. Aroma of forest floor, caramel malt, berries, cinnamon, vanilla ice cream. Taste is bittersweet, more sweet than. Bitter but there is a lovely spicy hoppy bite in the surprisingly dry finish. A wonderful example of an often unpopular style. Nilz (511) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAY 3, 2015
