Strong aroma and taste of what I think is corn. Really fizzy with a mild crispness. It’s a typical "international lager" clone - they all taste pretty much the same and every third world country’s got at least one (or several). I can’t say I’m disappointed as I wasn’t expecting much. jhliesen (832) - West Melbourne, Florida, USA - JAN 15, 2006
Bottle--Suprising sweet taste in comparisions to what I though was another pilsner. A slight aroma of mostly corn. The color was a bright yellow with small carbonated head that remained through the drink. Better than I expected, it was perfect with a pork steak mojito. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 8, 2006
UPDATED: FEB 28, 2007 Light gold body with a white head. The aroma is very light with some potatoes and dog hair. The taste has a very sweet sense of carrots along with sweet potatoes. There is also corn. One of the sweetest I have had in the style. HopheadHans (804) - Bay Area, California, USA - JAN 7, 2006
Ok, nothing spectacular. A fairly bland pilsner, not much head or flavor, certainly no aroma. Most similar to the beverage known as water. A slight mustiness and maybe a little hint of grain
but that’s it. thegreenrooster (4406) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 6, 2006
Pour is a very light yellow with a small white head. Aroma has a slight burnt quality but nothing else shows up after that. Flavor is also very light with hints of grain and corn. Nothing really great but on the other hand this tastes and smells like nothing so you could prob drink alot of this in Peru.

pretty decent pilsner. I had no idea Peru exported beer. Refreshing, holds up in flavor, not chemical or fake tasting like so many American beers OhioDad (2492) - Hilliard, Ohio, USA - SEP 20, 2005
12 oz bottle - Pours golden with a short white head that dissipates quick. Shame on me for thinking a bottle that said Pilsen on it would be a pilsener. Aromas of grass and light grains. Flavor is grass, sweet corn, light grains. Palate is light but not very carbonated and not too crisp and clean either. This tastes much more like a pale lager than a pilsener or a helles to me. Whatever type it is it isn’t very good.. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 18, 2005
(Bottle) Pours a pale yellow body with a moderate white head. Light aroma of grass and some metallic. Flavor of malt and corn. dwyerpg (6188) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - AUG 29, 2005
This is another Peruvian bland beer. Looks and tastes pretty much like any other countries mass-produced crappy brew. Oh well. NYHarvey (2153) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 14, 2005
Smells vaguely like an empty glass that had a sweet south american lager in it within the last month. Clear yellow color. fast fading head. Water with some drops of sugary malt drops in it. Amazing how they made a Dortmunder EXACTLY like the other pale lagers fromt he region. Might even make one think it was a pale lager.
