This is another Peruvian bland beer. Looks and tastes pretty much like any other countries mass-produced crappy brew. Oh well. NYHarvey (2153) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 14, 2005
Smells vaguely like an empty glass that had a sweet south american lager in it within the last month. Clear yellow color. fast fading head. Water with some drops of sugary malt drops in it. Amazing how they made a Dortmunder EXACTLY like the other pale lagers fromt he region. Might even make one think it was a pale lager. Quillaraymi (89) - USA - AUG 4, 2005
It is a beer to go with some peruvian dishes. It goes good with it. It goes very watery if you leave it in your glass for a while. I will say it is not too week or strong...a medium level. Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JUL 30, 2005
I (unfairly) braced myself for the worst, but was surprized by the drinkability of this Dortmunder. Light gold with a short-lived slender head, it’s got a sweet grassy aroma with a touch of herbal hopping. The flavor is sweet malt, mayhaps a bit of corn, and finishes on a sweet note with a dash of hop bitterness. A summer thirst quencher.bkurtz (1151) - LITHUANIA - JUN 28, 2005

(bottle) Poured a golden yellow. Slight hoppiness and not a bad thirst quencher for plain beer.

Bottle poured yellow with little head or lacing.
Aroma and flavor of light malt, hops ,corn with a good bitter finish. JonR888710 (999) - Cochabamba, BOLIVIA - JAN 21, 2005
Clear-yellow body with a fine, white head. Smells "so fresh and so clean" ala Andre 3000. Taste is same, with clean malt and fresh, floral hops. Pretty good for a cheap lager, as it escapes from being skunky due to its freshness. But it does not escape from being watery and malt flavor is a little ricey. Had this out of a bottle at a Peruvian restaurant to wash down chicken, and yucca slathered with green chili sauce. For this purpose, the beer is stellar for the occasion. Otherwise, its no better than a Miller or Bud. Why do people from warm climates always make sucky beer (aside from californians)? Cartoonkhaki (1341) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 2, 2004
Light golden colour.. white foam salty aroma.. idian spice aroma gram marsala quite cloying aroma... no sopice in flavour.. light watery palate.... Standard european in style and flavour... beerguy101 (5364) - Newark, California, USA - NOV 28, 2004
Light gold color. Small head. Aroma is malty, grainy and fruity, with a touch of corn. A light bodied dort/helles style lager. Mild malts, touch of corn. Mild slightly spicy hops. Crisp. Light and refreshing. Very mild flavor, and somewhat watery. Yet it does have a nice dry finish. This beer falls into the category of “its OK, but there is nothing there” Mouthfeel is a little thin. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. humulus (339) - Salem, Missouri, USA - NOV 12, 2004
Bottle from Machu Pichu resturant in Indy. Very light yellow and crystal clear. Frothy head and nice carbonation. Slightly bitter hops. Malts are very light. Reminds me of good old Burger or other fine american standards more than a dortmunder/helles. But there is a bit more malt and hops. Some adjunct flavors. Certainly drinkable.
