(bottle) Poured a golden yellow. Slight hoppiness and not a bad thirst quencher for plain beer.

Clear-yellow body with a fine, white head. Smells "so fresh and so clean" ala Andre 3000. Taste is same, with clean malt and fresh, floral hops. Pretty good for a cheap lager, as it escapes from being skunky due to its freshness. But it does not escape from being watery and malt flavor is a little ricey. Had this out of a bottle at a Peruvian restaurant to wash down chicken, and yucca slathered with green chili sauce. For this purpose, the beer is stellar for the occasion. Otherwise, its no better than a Miller or Bud. Why do people from warm climates always make sucky beer (aside from californians)?

Light gold color. Small head. Aroma is malty, grainy and fruity, with a touch of corn. A light bodied dort/helles style lager. Mild malts, touch of corn. Mild slightly spicy hops. Crisp. Light and refreshing. Very mild flavor, and somewhat watery. Yet it does have a nice dry finish. This beer falls into the category of its OK, but there is nothing there Mouthfeel is a little thin. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle from Machu Pichu resturant in Indy. Very light yellow and crystal clear. Frothy head and nice carbonation. Slightly bitter hops. Malts are very light. Reminds me of good old Burger or other fine american standards more than a dortmunder/helles. But there is a bit more malt and hops. Some adjunct flavors. Certainly drinkable.

Blond color. Light malt aroma. Dry taste, with a high bitterness. So similar to Premium Cristal reminds me that Simpsons episode at Duffs brewing facility

Move along, nothing to see here. Pale golden color with a medium white head that fizzed out pretty quickly. Very little lacing. The aroma is lightly malty with a kind of sweet biscuit character. Crisp and light bodied and on the malty side. There are some hops but really not enough to keep this interesting for long. The finish is a little soft and watery but there is definitely worse out there. Below average on the whole but better than I was expecting.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2012 Re-Rate 5-15-12: Didnt realize I had rated this already, almost exactly 8 years ago. Went from a 2.0 overall score to 2.6. Bottle at Punta Sol in Miraflores, Peru. Aroma not very pleasant. Crystal clear with very little head, and little visible carbonation. Nice, stronger Euro pils flavor with a mild hop profile. Enjoyable. 5-14-04:Proud to be the first Minnesotan to rate this brew. Doughy aroma, but not too pleasant. Large white head. Slightly cloudy, gold body. Good visible carbonation. Not much lace. A little overly carbonated. Poor aroma thankfully does not translate to the taste, although you still get a whiff every time you go down for a sip. A drinkable lager with a zing on the palate from the carbonation. Probably pretty good with Peruvian food. A worthy South American lager. Ar 3, Ap 2, Tas 3, Pal 4, Ov 8
