NOthing special,a little creamy and with good foam, but that’s all. VEry sweet and non tiring. glennmastrange (2884) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAR 5, 2009
Bottle. Light to moderate note of grain for the malt, light grass for the hops with a hint of cardboard. Head is frothy, white with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear light amber. Flavor is lightly acidic to start and finishes lightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery and has a lively carbonation. Okay smell and looks good, but the flavor is almost non-existent. jgb9348 (6328) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JAN 20, 2009
Crystal clear golden coloured body with no head at all. Aroma of skunk, pale malt, light low a.a. hops and some caster sugar. Light-bodied; Light lemon taste with a small maltiness and a very subtle hoppiness. Aftertaste quick and sharp - some citrus, but mostly bitter malt. Overall, not the worst lager, but its easier to pick out off-flavours than ’on’ flavours. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 28-May-2005 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. janubio (886) - SPAIN - DEC 30, 2008
330 ml bottle. Very pale colour, it looks like water when pouring. Good head with many bubbles that doesn´t hold much. No lacing.
Smell: Fresh grass only, and even faintly.
Taste: Taste you said? Water.
In the mouth is just something fresh and clean, some bitterness, that’s all. Drinkability I guess it’s good when it’s very hot and you haven’t a real decent beer near you.

Appearance: crystal clear gold, wispy white head, bits of drippy lace,
Aroma: sweet corn and cereal aroma with light floral hops,
Flavor: sweet corn flavor, good cereal character, nice balancing bitterness, lightlingering bitter finish,
Aroma: 3/10; Appearance: 5/10; Flavor: 3/10; Palate: 6/10; Overall: 6/20
A middle of the road beer. Straw-colored body with a very thin white head. Cereal, grass, and corn make up the light aroma. Palate is thin and watery, but that’s what I was expecting. Very light and fairly refreshing. Semi-sweet malt and corn with just a bit of hops at the end. No aftertaste. A thirst-quencher, but that’s about it. ChainGangGuy (4897) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 19, 2008
Appearance: Pours a clear, light yellow body with a thin, wispy, white head.
Smell: Oh, what a cereal nose, accompanied by light floral hints and a faint note of grain.
Taste: Light pale maltiness with a distinctly cereal sweetness. Floral, spicy hops, lightly bitter. Drying, crisp finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Reasonably refreshing -- I suppose that’s the politest thing one can say of this beverage. glkaiser (1214) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 14, 2008
Ha. One of those beers you wish you wouldn’t have drank. Off flavors abound with grain and corn and sourness. Glad I don’t live in Peru. ATLBeerDog (280) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 13, 2008
Pours a clear pale with a small almost non existent head. Smells of corn and malt. First sip tastes of malt and corn with a mild hop presence. Very light bodied and typical of beers from Latin America. Not too bad when I compare it to all the others I have had from Lima.
