POurs yellow. Nose is grains and crisp bready notes. Flavor is bready, grainy, crisp mild hops. This was my go to beer in Colombia. Refreshing, easy drinker. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - NOV 30, 2008
Not that bad, just a little incipit. The aroma is quite strong and the taste is like of something is missing. TH efom sticks to the glass though. reebtogi (6277) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 30, 2012
355ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a fast dissipating 2 finger white head. Aroma is light malts and hops. Taste is light malt sweetness with a average hop bitterness. A decent clean finish with no real lingering aftertaste. Ok to drink on a hot day. tomciccateri (1034) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - DEC 21, 2010
Cold bottle at bar in Bocagrande district of Cartagena. Pours a clear gold color with a lasting white head. Well-carbonated. Light body with thin character and little malt character. Very subtle mellow hop flavor. Fair. dwyerpg (6187) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUN 4, 2006
Nice and heady with a bad pilsener/lager aroma. This Bogota beer has a very bad head. And a flavor that almost matches. Well, it’s a little better warmer but still not good.
Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 26, 2007
A golden lager with a thin white head. Lightly malty aroma, non descript. Taste is lightly sweet malt, faint metallic hops and decent bodied. Bought at Carrefour, Bogota, for 1250 COP (60 cents). bytemesis (8438) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAY 7, 2012
Tap, at a festival in Medellin. Pours yellow gold with a medium white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is grainy, malty, typicaly of the type. Taste follows aroma, minimal hop presence and a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. solidfunk (8964) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - MAY 28, 2013
Another Latin American beer called Pilsen. This one’s from Colombia. I liked it slightly better than Aguila and Club Colombia, but then it was the first one I had here. It was a little crisp and grainy at first at least. Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - SEP 21, 2005
Pours clear golden with a fizzy greyish head. Sweet aroma of grain with a hint of hop. Hop and grain in the flavor as well with a soapy tone. Not extremely bad, not interesting either. almosi (282) - Viña del Mar, CHILE - JUN 14, 2007
Yellowish very pale, clear. The head is white and abundant. The Aroma is grassy, tenuous. In the palate, the flavor is light and artificial. (Masses and rice). The body is light and thin. This beer does not have much that to offer, is the typical beer of the tropics.
