Beerenberger's rating

   AROMA 8/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 2/20
Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - JAN 30, 2013
Aroma of grain, some malt, and a bit of a skunky fragrance. Pours a clear straw yellow with a nice mostly diminishing white head and minor lacing. The taste is grain forward with a hint of malt sweetness in the finish. Medium body with active carbonation. Crisp mouthfeel. Overall, while not a stellar beer, it is drinkable and will go well with many dishes. A good session beer for hot Texas summers.

Color amarillo palido, carbonatacion media. Buena espuma, pero poco estable. Ligero olor a malta y lupulo al inicio, luego desaparece. Ligero sabor a malta y lupulo extracto CO2. Amargo poco intenso y cuerpo algo aguado. Botella en aeropuerto @ el salvador. 2 meses de envasado.

obguthr (6835) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JUN 6, 2014
Honey and corn nose, good strength. Clear golden, thin head. Sweet honey on the front, but slightly drier on the back. I really like this type of lager.

Pershing (599) - Garland, Texas, USA - APR 12, 2014
Clear yellow with a small white head that dissolves quickly. Fair amount of visual carbonation. Sweet Corn and grain aroma that quickly fades. Light crisp mouth feel with a light finish. Not bad on a hot summer day.

Bottle; poured a clear dull gold. Aroma was like nothing; bread, sweet and alcohol. Sweet and malty. Thin and rather crappy

Bottle @ home, courtesy of BLACKIPA! Pours a clear yellow appearance with a white head. Skunky, dry herbal grassy, lemon aroma. A bit corny, grassy, a bit metallic, creamy, green apple flavor. Not sure I really want to chug this but what the heck.

ghawener (1615) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - JUL 13, 2013
Bottle: 100 years celebration edition, has been re-formulated over it’s history adding ’adjuntos cerveceros’ - rice, corn, etc.

From a 12 pz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear pale gold with an off white head. Biscuit aroma. Crisp and inoffensive flavor.

Westchesterco (2274) - mclean, Virginia, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Very pale yellow aroma faint with a hint of grain. Taste very slight flavor of metal. Not long on the palate
