Certainly easy to drink while on the deck in the Galapagos, but nothing special if compared to other beers. Smooth, malt no hops. Not much skunk aroma that can happen in this category. Cuso (8935) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - SEP 2, 2012
Bottle, many thanks to Teddybeer. Golden color with small white head.Strong malty aroma. malty taste with some sourness and very light bitterness in finish. sistinas (108) - Mountain View, California, USA - AUG 22, 2012
The easiest beer to find in Ecuador. Every country has a beer like this - slightly malty and bland, goes down well with food, easy drinking. I drank a lot of it. It’s inconsistent. Some of them are a little sour, some of them taste like corn. mansquito (6914) - Nueva York, New York, USA - AUG 22, 2012
Peculier Pub, NY bottle ($5): Pours about as pale as you can get. Aroma is nil. Taste is about the same. The good thing about his beer is that it is closer to water than Bud Light and has the same alcohol content. Basically, I only drank it to knock off another country from my list. lukin (668) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 22, 2012
ugh, this one was everywhere for the entirety of my six week trip. Bland, watery, sour grains and funk. Tasted good in the sweaty jungle but that was about it.

Delicious and very tasty. I have never tried a beer pilsen type like pilsener from Ecuador. I found it delicious! Rotbart (155) - - MAY 27, 2012
An average lager with some carbonation and a modest hoppy finish. Tasted nice on a hot afternoon. Ktwse (5464) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2012
A very bland lager, sadly ubiquitous in Ecuador. The other main brand, Club, is slightly better but not as common. Still, after a week of only this, you get somewhat used to it... And in it’s defense, it’s no worse than many US or European bland lagers. Rodriguez (364) - Quito, ECUADOR - JAN 15, 2012
You"ll find this beer all over the country. No aroma at all, water with a little bit of bitterness, but it doesn’t seem hops are involved. Awful beer. Months ago I discovered is made with 50% rice.....Don’t try the canned one, taste worst.
