Cask at Barnton Cricket Club Beer Festival 16/11/2012 Amber coloured, well balanced taste, good session beer
Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium brown with a bubbly white head. The aroma is citrus yeast. The flavour is light bitter with a big doughy biscuit malt light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. foxo82 (899) - Bromsgrove (via Leicester), Worcestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2015
Cask at The King’s Head, Leicester. A tad watery - some wood malt but lacking any lasting impression. Much prefer my red head... maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2014
Cask conditioned handpump Waggon & Horses Brighton 20/05/14. A ruddy brown coloured beer with a white head and lace. Too sweet of the malt for me. Chewy. Clearly highly hopped but the malts are too much. Grainy and husky too. Low drinkability. leaparsons (10499) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 16, 2013
Cask, Slug and Lettuce, Leicester. Copper with an off white foam. Aromas are toast and berries with stewed apple and soapy, floral notes. Caramel with stewed apple. Flavours are sweet red berries and earthy apple with toffee and some lemony yeast. Hints of coffee with coal and a slightly gritty, dark chocolate finish Decent. Redish amber body, small head. Aroma has some sharp unbalanced bitterness. Bit bready and grainy flavour. Something is missing.

Pigs Ear. Clear amber beer, no real head. Palate is light and dry. Sweet malt with a touch of smoke. Lots of dried fruit including apple. Dry finish. A bit sweet. Okay.
cask Dean Swift, Nice fruity aromas, followed by some balanced malts, quite oily on the Palate, all in all not a bad beer
