Buckets, burlap bags and pickup truck beds are filled with black walnuts each fall in the Ozarks. The rich and lively flavor of the wild, hand-harvested black walnut is a renowned flavor of the region. Canned Jan 11, 2017. Pours a dark brown, mostly clear with subtle aromas. Little head and lacing. Malts, bread, nutty forward. Smooth, easy drinking. Finishes a bit dry, little carbonation but not flat by any means. Subtle in every way, not in a bad way. Good offering - Prost!

Pours deep brown with a soapy tan head. The aroma has rich nuttiness, toasted wheat, some bananas and phenolic spice. It has a medium smooth body with mild sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with very smooth wheat, nuttiness from the walnuts, minerals and spice. The finish has some vanilla creaminess and more spices. Pretty good.

Sampled at GABF In the tasting glass this was hazy muddy brown and a tan head that lasts. The nose is toasted malts, and I do get the walnut. Medium in body. Flavor is walnuts and malts. OK
