Poured from pint can into snifter, pretty traditional IPA, has a decent chuggable factor, not amazing but still a good purchase. Pick some up.

12oz can. Sort of a classical US brewpub IPA, a touch antiquated but still reasonably enjoyable. Deep, resinous NW hop tone. Unfiltered orange-brown-tan body. Not that impressive, but drinkable enough. tmoreau (4632) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - FEB 14, 2017
Shared 12 oz. can poured to a snifter displaying a cloudy, orangey gold color, with a modest layer of soft white head foam, and some web-like lacing. The nose was dank & piney, with some backup citrus. Medium bodied, with good carbonation, the taste added a lingering citrus & rind-like bitterness, and finished pleasantly dry. Hidden alcohol presence, but drinkably decent. coachd (932) - Missouri, USA - OCT 15, 2016
Aroma is more sweet than hoppy. Burnt orange appearance with a large white head, tons of lacing. The taste is earthy with a strong hop presence that lasts through the aftertaste. Hoppy, but not bitter, uniquely drinkable for such a significant hop profile. Slick palate, heavy but carbonated enough for the style. This was good. I don’t know much about Piney River but I will be seeking out more of their beers. seymour (2120) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - SEP 21, 2016
Sampled on draft at the 2016 Tanglefoot Brewfest, a deep orange amber with sudsy off-white foam, a little lace. A typical American IPA: malty and caramelly, grapefruity, resiny, meaty bitterness, lingering fruity aftertaste. Medium body and strong carbonation, good stuff. edgallow (4473) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 22, 2016
Sampler pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, floral and grass. taste is citrus, malts and grain.

16 oz. can from Craft Beer Cellar - Clayton. Pours a mostly clear vivid orange with a small off-white head that settles into a lasting film and ring. Notes of citrus, bready and sweet malts, tea, straw, florals, grass. Light-medium bodied, with medium carbonation and a bitter, malty mouthfeel. It’s just an average IPA. Right up the middle. 77ships (11051) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - APR 3, 2016
Can sampled @ “Sir Goatie McGoat S&G Tasting”. Thank you Mathieu87 and/or PriorL! Darker orange with little white head. Nose is orange, quite sweet overall especially for the style, lots of candy, dough & sugar. Taste is overly sweet, grainy, sweet sugar, candy, yeast, dry orange, dough. Overly grainy body. Far too sweet, meh, below average for the style. jbruner (5285) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JAN 4, 2016
Can thanks to trade with gregwilsonstl! Pours a hazy golden orange with thin off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of piney hops and mild astringency, a hint of pale malt. Taste is more just the malt and piney hops, no astringency, but mild oxidation. Carbonation is low, mild bitterness. Meh. kaser (6382) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 27, 2015
