Our best selling beer, hand’s down! A high gravity red ale that is extremely drinkable due to the sweet finish leaving the pallet wanting more. Dry-hopped for a floral characteristic delivering an extra kick for the hop-heads.

Foxbush (2140) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - AUG 29, 2017
Draft at the Amelia Taveren in Fernandina Beach, FL. This is best red ale I have ever had. The ale poured a deep re color with a medium body and average carbonation. The higher ABV only added to overall quality of this ale. The finish was dry with some lingering bitterness.

oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 20, 2016
Pours a nice bright amber color. Aromas of grapefruit/pine with some roasty scents. Flavor is citrus mixed well with the sweet malt, nice hoppy taste on this one.

freekyp (2466) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - FEB 29, 2016
On tap at brewpub. Big caramel malty nose with buttery diacetly (in a good way) and lots of leathery earthiness. Pours a beautiful burnished bronze with a thick ring of off-white head. Full and soft in the mouth. Slightly sweet and malty throughout with a nice spicy hop component that rises slightly in the finish.

chinchill (5376) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 18, 2015
On tap at the brewpub. This is imperial red has a modestly higher malt load and slightly higher (but not obvious) ABV. Clean and well-balanced flavor. Medium, smooth body.

Malty red. Not a style I usually like, but pretty good. Deep, ruby red color.

hotstuff (5278) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 2, 2014
Rated on 02-22-2013 at Pinglehead Brewery for RBWG. This draft beer’s appearance is a small beige head with a long retention, fast rising carbonation and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is pine hops, malt and semi-sweet. The flavor is pine hops, lightly bitter, caramel malt, and a little sweet. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is quaffable and not too hoppy tasting. This is a beer that I would drink again.

fluffy (2461) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - AUG 6, 2014
Actually more balanced than I was thinking it was going to be. A bit of burn but good balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

PorterPounder (8355) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Tallahassee, Fl - on tap at Proof. Medium copper colored pour, medium thick off-white head. Diactyl-like butterscotch in the aroma with hints of vanilla. .Favor has some more of that butterscotch with some hints of caramel and vanilla. Tastes better than it smelled and improves as it warms. Thick enough mouthfeel.
