Draft... Pours murky and abysmally black with a mid-sized, creamy, khaki head. Great retention. The aroma is that of cafe con leche and mocha. Medium bodied with a dry mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. Inky, with a thin filmy tan head. Tangy, light caramel, roast aroma. Vinegar and roast. Slipery mouth, decent CO2. Tangy finish. A bit disappointing, back-to-back with a a lot of really good brews from Florida. Tap at Brewer’s Pizza for RBWG. Pours a clear, deeper cola. Decent beige foam. Nose is green/gamey coffee, animal, goat, caramel. Taste is coffee, earth, peppercorn, spice. Pours an opaque brownish-black on tap with thin lacy head that spots lightly in rings on the way down. Aroma of toasted oats, roasted malts, and coffee. Tap at the brewpub, RBWG 2013. Pours black-brown with a light, tan cream head. Nice if mellow roasted malt nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, plenty of ashy roast now, bitter cocoa. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Modest bitter, earthy finish, charred wood, ash. Good one.
