Bottled. Hazy golden, small head. Papery malt aroma. Dryish with soft, gentle mouthfeel. Medium bodied and very mild with pleasant notes of butter. Low bitterness. Oakes (18209) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 12, 2006
Hazy light amber colour. Musty, oxidized yeasty aroma. Musty, fairly yeasty flavour, too. Tastes old but would it ever have been decent...I doubt it. There are no hops, stale or otherwise and the malts and dull as dishwater. It’s a bit of a forsenic rating, so discard it if you wish, but I’ve seen good beer go bad and this isn’t it. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - FEB 4, 2006
This ESB pours a medium orange gold color from a 330ml(?) bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is mild, malty and fruity but a little vegetative. Light to medium bodied ESB/Bitter. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are fairly mild and spicy. Clean and crisp. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2013 A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of Hops and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of peaches, malt, fruits, and hops, leading to bitter finish. Dixen (1465) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - SEP 21, 2005
Weak hoppy nose with some notes of peaches. Orange colored brew, small white head. Weak hoppy flavor, slight maltyness and some fruityness.

Pours slightly hazy orange and a foamy off-white head. Fresh herb and hop aroma with a dusty tone. Quite thin and watery hoppy flavor with malt in there also. Foamy mouthfull and a dry end. All right, but not too interesting. madsberg (11774) - Søborg, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2005
Bottled: Golden coloured. Clear. Off white head. Hoppy and flowery nose. Flavour is quite thin. Some hops, some malt, some fruityness. Ends on a light sweet note. Thaks Sammy for this. Sammy (12497) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 21, 2005
Most interesting. A creaminess that kept up through the finish. Very good and a citrus hoppiness unique to me. Some mettalic with a little bitterness, more fruitiness, all-in-all a palate cleaner and refreshing. Thanks DouglasD for bringing back from Kiwi land. yalnikim (800) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 18, 2005
Tasted 15/03/2005. 330ml bottle from The Malthouse.
Deep golden toffee colour with a thick white head and strong lacing. High gravity big malt mouthfeel. Sweet caramel malt and fruity winey flavours. Little bitterness. Some tropical fruit / winey aromas emerge further down the glass. Palate is suprisingly clean. dreamboat (186) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 4, 2004
A really nice brew this one. So many hop flavours and aromas there to be enjoyed. Slightly puckering bitterness hinting at a harshness to come, that just mellows in the mouth to more hop taste. Great stuff.
