Bottle. Pours reddish copper with a white head that isn’t around for long. The aroma is fairly sweet and really is like fairy floss (cotton candy) with a touch of toffee and a tiny hint of malt in the background. Flavour is a little sweet but not as much as the nose would lead you to believe; in fact bittersweet is a more appropriate description. There are flavours of caramel, malt, sour apple, brown sugar and a hint of sherry at the end. Interesting beer, very tasty, but it would be hard to drink more than two in a night.

Bottled. New Zealand holiday 2011-12. Old notes. Aroma has sweetish caramel malts, some raisin, some fruity hops. Clear, copper coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is sweet, has caramel, some spicy tones, raisin, alcohol and finishes more bitter.
