330ml bottle from Blenheim New World. Nice copper colour faint head but does linger. Aroma quite malty. Nice toffee / butterscotch. Good body, sweetness thru the middle and a real maltbiscuit flick at the finish. Well crafted beer. beerledgend (1196) - Waterloo, Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 23, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 18, 2006 Amber in colour with big white creamy head. Typical English bitter style, mild hop bitternes.
(Perhaps too may Belgian beers this week and change of palate brought marks down)

Dark amber in colour, small white head. malty hop aroma, estery/apple like flavour. JoeMcPhee (9517) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 2, 2005
Copper coloured beer with a thick creamy white head. Aroma is quite malty, caramel, toffee, and a touch of vanilla. Light spicy hops. Flavour is semi-sweet, with vanilla, toffee, and a creamy toasted malt character. Light apricot fruitiness as well. IPFreely (1470) - Sanborn, New York, USA - JUL 19, 2005
Copper color, slight haze, cream colored head. Fruity malt and hops go well together, orangy along with some bready flavors. Medium bodied. Pretty nice. DYCSoccer17 (3706) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 5, 2005
Thanks to Sammy for this rare beer. Sampled with Tim and Rudy. Vinous, alcoholic, fruity aroma. Kind of smells like fermented cow corn ethanols. Moderately hazy copper color with a whitish head. Very tea-like flavor to start, turning sweeter and caramelly.

Thanks to Sammy. Nose has tea and orange, sweetish malt. Flavor has orange, bread, malt, tea-like. A solid English Pale - I’d like to try this one fresh. rgrep (156) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 21, 2005
Hoppy nose with notes of malt, spice and maple. The body is warm and malty with peppery undertones and sweet hints of brown sugar and male syrup. Pours a deep bronze with a fluffy off-white head. Sammy (12610) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 28, 2005
pure enjoyment from this brewery. Well hopped, malt, great with a multi-course supper. Quite drinkable and complex. Sadly the last of 5 great beers from this region brought back by Douglas D dreamboat (186) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 4, 2004
I found this beer to be very similar to the Mammoth, with just a litle less of everything - less alcohol, a bit less hop and malt taste, and not quite such a funky aroma. Would make an excellent session beer. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JAN 7, 2004
some pretty damn good yeast they've got going there. sweet stonefruit aroma. hint of butterscotch schnapps and then some pepperiness and a slow bitter finish with some self raising flour
