3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Enjoyed from a 500ml bottle in a wine glass. The beer pours a medium to slightly dark brown color, with an initially frothy off-tan head. The nose shows assertive Munich malt character. The palate shows a fairly aggressive carbonation level at first, before more Munich character. Flavors then trail off, rather abruptly; still a light Munich note, but an otherwise dry and fairly crisp ending. Mouthfeel is fine. The general character of the beer seems to tend toward quaffability, with a generous malt presence throughout. Overall, perhaps not on the level of an Ayinger Dunkle, but a solid example of the style, and quite enjoyable.
Bottle - clear brown color, gigantic head. Aromas of dark malts, caramel, a bit metallic. Medium dry finish. Body is medium. ulrikolsen (576) - DENMARK - AUG 4, 2016

üller. Pours almost clear reddish brown with small head. Aroma has malt, toasted bread and hints of chocolate yet hoppy with grass. Taste is malty with dark malts, toasted bread, chocolate and hints of ripe fruit, and hoppy with grass. Finish is malty and slightly dusty and medium bitter.
A bottle from one of the health food shops along Xin Long Road, drunk at home. Aroma: hint of malt, but nothing much. Appearance: a murky reddish brown, slightly hazy, minimal head. Palate: light, thin, softly carbonated, somewhat astringent. Taste: sour, light, doesn’t linger. Nothing special, but I would drink it as a change from the usual offerings in the neighbourhood. Bottled. Clear pale amber, small head. Bready fruity nose. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Dough and grass. Mid bitter finish. fidelis83 (2481) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - APR 13, 2015
Reddish medium brown pour with a one finger soda-like beige head, looks exactly like root beer. Aroma is toast, chocolate, ripe tree fruit, cooked apples, floral hops, bread, hay and a little toffee. Flavor is loaded with apples and tree fruit up front, light roasted nuts, faint cocoa, light acidity, a little banana, odd green wood tartness, some toffee and more sweet fruity notes to the finish. Light body, dry, acidic feel, medium, sharp carbonation. Not very good. cmc619 (501) - California, USA - MAR 27, 2015
Münster visit tasting continued. Wife loved this one at Pinkus brewpub at lunch. Then ended up at Drübbelken for dinner (at the coveted - or tourist trap - high table). Ordered "zwei Jubi bitte!" in the house mugs and all was right with the world. This beer is like the Bud Light of dunkels - which I say in a good way because the enlightened beer drinker (and brewers) appreciate Bud Light’s clear drinkability. Jubi is an amazing dunkel with a dangerous drinkability. Loved it. Sometimes wife has seriously good taste in beer! bpreo (2881) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JAN 17, 2015
You don’t find a lot of German Organic beer around here, so I will enjoy this one regardless. chinchill (5159) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 6, 2014
Pours clear with a mahogany brown body and a weak head.
Attractive, relatively complex aroma; mainly malty with hints of raisins faint hops. The flavor follows, but seems less complex and fruity.
Feel: very smooth with excellent carbonation and a slightly buttery finish.
O: excellent for style and good with food.
