Luneylane (63) - Taipei City, TAIWAN - DEC 7, 2016
A bottle from the so-called ’Pinkus German Restaurant’ on Keelung Road, drunk at home. Aroma: wheaty, bready. Appearance: clear, light amber, minimal head. Palate: medium body, rather thin. Soft carbonation, bitter at the finish but doesn’t last. Taste: lightly bitter, I detect a sour note. A nice change from the local beer, but lacks punch.

Aroma only spices. Taste sweet crispy, some herbal feel, something is missing, cereal, pinch floral, light body, thin feel, average carbonation.

0,5 l Flasche. Hellgelbes, leicht trübes Bier. Duftet stark nach Himbeere, Geschmack dann aber durchschnittlich und ohne jede Besonderheit.

330ml bottle - thanks Marduk!
Corny aroma, some acidic husky grains. Watery palate, a bit flat. Light grains in the taste, plentyhusky, but harshly hopped, a bit acidic. Rough, harsh, more and more acidic. Corny and bitter hoppy finish. Not the normal eco probs, but other probs instead.

330ml bottle as "Pinkus Original". Clear pale yellow color. Medium size, thick white head, stays. Malty, some acidic hops, some grains in aroma. Grainy, acidic hops, herbal in taste. Sourish grains and herbal hops in aftertaste. Soft carbonation. I like the hop thing. But this ain’t altbier. No way.

Zlotta (2367) - Hagen, GERMANY - SEP 4, 2016
Sampled from 0.5 l bottle at RBBSG 2016 in Evergem. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, malty and a little grassy aroma of sweet malts, grains and some straw. Sweetish-malty, slightly grassy taste of sweet malts, grains and some straw, followed by a short, minimally bitter, a little grassy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, quite bland, lactic acid is hardly detectable.
