szeli (262) - GERMANY - JAN 24, 2016

50cl bottle at home (22 XII 2015). Blonde, golden looking brew with a beautiful white collar. This beer is clear and seems to have little carbonation. The malt flavours are subtle, with some hay and dirt. The mouthfeel has medium carbonation though, and the malts and bitterness are refreshing. The ending is a bit dusty. This is a plain, not that watery brew with fruity accents - but it certainly is not great. A modest brew.

Pours a very hazy, dark golden yellow color with a one finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Sporadic chunks of lacing left behind. Much lighter in color than expected for the style. The aroma of this beer is extremely bland with some bready yeast, subtle pale malt and a very faint earthy hop presence. There’s really not much else going on and it’s hard to pick up anything except the yeast and faint grassy hops. On the lighter end of medium bodied with an odd combination of bready yeast, grassy hops, citrus and astringent metal. Really weird and off style with a very watered down mineral like flavor. Some zesty spice, bready yeast, citrus peel and rusted tin. Bland and very unpleasant.

Salwal (486) - GERMANY - OCT 15, 2015
From the bottle, pours clear golden with huge white head. Nose of sour honey notes, hay very light citrus. Bubbly mouthfeel I mean really high carbonation, sweetish light bitterness, some fruityness. Good and refreshing beer...

Icedwarf (1628) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - AUG 17, 2015
Helder geel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht zuur met grassen, noot en bessen. Apart bier, best goed.

chinchill (4939) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 11, 2015
500 ml bottle. Looks like a run of the mill pale lager, but the aroma and taste prove otherwise. Light biscuit aroma with a hint of citrus. The flavor has more citrus, which here seems like lime, and adequate grain flavor. Light bodied but not watery with near medium carbonation.

VinegarStroke (421) - Napa, California, USA - MAY 31, 2015
Bottle: Light straw with some subtle haze. Pours with a medium head that dissipates quickly. No lace. Clean pale malt aromas. Very simple and clean. No complexity from the fermentation or hops. There is a subtle apricot aroma. Very dry, not sour and moderately low bitterness. There’s a roundness to the mouthfeel. High CO2 gives a freshness and acidity. Clean and refreshing.
