500 ml bottle from the Bishop’s Cellar. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with average-sized white head. Aroma is honeyed biscuit, hint of lemon and a bit of spiciness/grassiness. Flavour has doughy biscuit, a little honey, very light lemon zest and a sharpish grassy note. Relatively active carbonation. Solid beer.

Bottle courtesy of Hermann. Light yellowy gold with a cloudy haze. Soft mouthfeel, with a nice prickly spicy hop bitterness poking through. Not especially dry or super bitter. Better than the Special, that’s for sure.

drinking this biological beer out of a special Pinkus Müller, makes you hope of good weather and well fill cafe terraces. The beer looks good and tastes good. Not bitter, but sweetish wit a soft aftertaste. Not very much carbonation and little over average, soft mouthfeel. I would say this is a beer you can drink all evening.

Rally this is what a pilz should be. Nice head. Grain aroma and taste. Light cloudy but still lots of clarity and a big head. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Organic, eh? That’s really the only thing commendable about this beer. Otherwise a generally average (though highly drinkable) German pils. Aroma is slightly smoky. Absolutely clear as day with a foamy head that disappears almost instantly.

Bottle. Pours a bright hazy gold with a high, creamy, mixed-grained, lacy white head. Nose is bright and lemony with spritzy, spicy overtones; honey and cardamom predominant. Very clean and refreshing; honey and spice forward, with a very substantial and full flavor for a pilsner. A little sweeter than Czech pils. Finish is long, round, warm, and spicy. This is a really good beer, and just has so much going on with it; complex, full-bodied, and emphatically well-structured.

0.5 L from tap. Pours clear yellow with a white head, not much lasting but good lacing. Light malty aroma. Medium malty taste, a bit sweetness, light to medium bitterness. Well carbonated, light bodied. Slightly metallic, astringent aftertaste. A good pilsener, more hopped than the average.
