500ml (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Pretty darl, large frothy beige head, fairly persistent. Pleasanty roasty bready aroma, quite toasty. Medium palate, refreshing, but not watery, carbonation there but not aggressive. Lovely level of burntness to the toastiness in the taste, and a nice dry leafy old hop bitterness too. Very full of character, but refreshing to chug too. Finish does get a bit burnt dry and metallic bitter later, but it doesn’t become offensive.
