Imperial Baltic Porter - 24,7°

Baltic Porter - dark, strong lager which is Polish "treasure beer". Classic version of Baltic Porter (with Plato extract around 20°) is brewed with a few Polish breweries. We, as PINTA, respect a value of Polish treasure but at the same time we go extra mile to create our own vision of classical beer. Bottle at viva la Pinta (got a brewdog glass with it - isn’t the craft beer world small!). Pours like an Imperial stout, pitch black with a little Cappuccino-like foam. Aroma is a gem, deep, complex, rich, sweet and very malty. Lot of chocolate and coffee coming through from the malt. Heavy body, thick and oily mouthfeel. Flavour is rich and complex, heavy and spicy. Dark malts come through full force, delivering a beautiful chocolatey malt base. Also some coffee. Lots of spices too, herbal hoppiness also adds to the overall flavour. Finishes sweet, semi-dry, and herbal-spicy, with a note of chocolate. Extremely good, like an excellent Imperial stout. Probably best Baltic porter I have ever had.

Pitch black imperial porter with light brown creamy foam flavors of heavily roasted malt, smoke, oak, tried dark fruit, dark chocolate, licorice, coffee and hop. A fine balanced between the sweetness and  bitterness  9.1 % abv. which warm the body 😋

Zapach gorzkiej czekolady, nieco mydlany. Piękna czarna barwa z gęstą kremową pianą. W smaku czekoladowe, wyczuwalna goryczka, orzechowe, mocne. Grzeje :)

Kolor czarny, lekkie refleksy rubinowe. Wysycenie niskie

Piwo le?akowa?o przesz?o rok. Mia?em okazj? porówna? bezpo?rednio po wypuszczeniu ?wie?ej warki i po le?akowaniu i zdecydowanie to drugie wypada lepiej. Piwo ciemnobrunatne, pod ?wiat?o rubinowe refleksy, klarowne. Piana bujna, kremowa, utrzymuje si? bardzo d?ugo. W smaku oleiste, palone z wyczuwalnym chmielowo, alkoholowym aromatem. Ponad to mo?na te? wyczu? gorzk? czekolad? i kaw?.

Nice aroma, seems like a barley wine, but also has hops. Complex and elegant, full of chocolate and toffee, some cocoa beans and liquor wine. Moderately sweet, with candy and malts, burnt sugar and raisins. Full bodied and oily. Aftertaste is a nice, long lasting bitter and sweet feel. Impeccable.

Zapach rozczarowuje. Niezbyt intensywny, wyczuwalny alkohol, sos sojowy. Przyjemna w zapachu jest nutka wiśniowa. W smaku jest moc! Extra gorzka czekolada, W gębie gęsto i lekko szczypie alko.

Aromat truskawkowy, kawowy, cytrusy w tle, wiśnia, czekolada. Barwa czarna z rubinowym refleksem, obfita kremowa piana. W smaku - kawa, czekolada, paloność, truskawka, cytrusy. Przyjemny rozgrzewający alkohol na finiszu, raczej niskie wysycenie, piwo pełne i oleiste. Zdecydowanie godne polecenia, jeden z najlepszych porterów jakie piłem.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2017 Deep brown / black pour with dense thin tan head that disappears instantly. Nice lacing. Nose is dark malts, doughy yeast, coffee, walnut, smoked wood. Delicately sweet taste with a nice smokey aftertaste. Notes of coffee, dried dark fruits, cocoa, chocolate biscuit, hops and smoked oak barrel, all nicely coming together in harmony. Alcohol is present, without overshadowing the flavors. Vinous and sticky texture, low carbonation. Really good.

From tap at Ølfestival København 2017. A dark brown to black coloured beer with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and with a bitter finish.
