PINTA Żytorillo 14,0
Style: Rye Black IPA
BLG: 14
ABV: 5,3%
IBU: 68

PINTA Żytorillo 14,0 - our own vision of traditional rye beer. Classical rye beer (Roggenbier) is pale, full bodied and softly-hopped (like PINTA Apetyt na Życie 13,1). We decided to take next step - we added more malts (roasted malt included), we used perfect yeast for dark beers of top fermentation (S-04) and we added a bunch of Amarillo hops (USA). PINTA Żytorillo 14,0 - rye beer for new days.

Recipe: Ziemowit Fałat

Ingredients: water, Weyermann barley malts: pale ale, rye, Munich II, roasted Carafa Special II; hops: Amarillo (USA); yeast: Safale S-04.

All ingredients for PINTA are delivered by Browamator (www.browamator.pl)

Beer is pasteurized and unfiltered.

Recommended glassware: PINTA nonic.
Recommended temperature of serving: 9-11C
Recommended for to pair with the beer: goat cheese, curry, beef burgers
.
Latest batch: Winter 2016.
Next planned batch: Autumn 2017.

Warka 03.05.2017. Barwa prawie czarna, nieprzejrzysta. Choć to moje pierwsze zetknięcie z gatunkiem Black IPA

PREZENTACJA: brązowe jak kawa, skąpa piana opada do trwałej obrączki, ktra pięknie osiada na szkle w formie krążkw;
AROMAT: słodkawy, trochę cytrusw i popił, lekkie warzywa;
ODCZUCIE: ciało średnie, gładkie, kleiste;
SMAK: słodycz owocowa, trochę paloności i wyraźna niezbyt długa popiołowa goryczka;
OGLNIE: nijakie piwo, poza przyjemnym odczuciem wszystko jest na pł gwizdka.

Wzr stylu. Wyborny chmielowo palony aromat. W smaky czekoladowe, wytrawne, z mocną chmielową goryczką. Do tego gładka faktura.

Pours muddy dark brown, beige head. Aroma of intense earthiness, ash, rye malt, dark coffee. Taste is earthy, with lots of rye malt and a touch of dark coffee. Rather dry than sweet, low to medium bittetness. Pretty dry coffee-like the finish.
