Draught at the pub. Dark amber pour with medium foamy off white head. Nose is pine, grain. Flavor is salty, light pine, light malt and some grains with a bitter finish. Not very hoppy for an American barley wine.
(Draught) Pours a hazy burnt orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, cherry, bread, and pine. Flavor of cherry, toffee, caramel, and brown sugar. SudsMcDuff (8388) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JUN 19, 2013

Wow! This is a great beer. Cloudy copper with a tan head. The aroma is exploding with resinous floral hoppy bitterness. The palate is dry and the overall body mellow. The flavor is like a dry double le IPA and goes down like water. I donít get any sweetness like Iím accustomed to from most barley wines. Too good. White intricate lace. Delicious!
