On tap at The Pints & Pub, in cask, amber color, with a white head, nice floral hop fruity nose of apricots, peaches, pineapples, having the hint of a whiskey fruitiness, with some mild earthy toasty, caramelized malt accents, with a toffeeish note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a fruity, toasty malt character, with a good flowery hop leafy, grassy accent, some citrusy undertones, with a hint of mintiness, and with a kind of a vanilla oakiness, leading towards a well hopped, leafy bitterness finish. Opens up with a very nice fruity aroma, some biscuity maltiness covered in fruity jam. Fragrant floral and grassy hop notes. Earth flavors with a bit of caramel malt. Decent lighter styled IPA. hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2006
On tap at the Pints Brew Pub [1/2 pint glass]. Cask. Poured a medium amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of fruity, light pine, and oranges. Medium caramel sweetness in the taste as well. Lacing left on the glass. AleDrinker (1089) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - OCT 15, 2007
Cask ale. Pretty smooth with a mild bitterness. An english style IPA. Smooth going down with a clean finish. Supplemented the hot wings nicely. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - OCT 2, 2005
Cask at the pub with argo0, MRomero548, and Degarth...once we found it:
A hazed unfliltered coppery hue with small lace. The aroma has notes of apricot, apple, bready malts, and floral hops. A zesty grapefruit and apple twang with some caramel and rye characteristics and a malty midesection. There is however a noticeable diacetyl nature to the brew that keeps it from being much better. The feel is smooth has expected with some metallic notes on the aftertaste. I liked it but then again I like cask bitters. (FYI, this place has a GREAT selection of single malt scotch!)
