Aroma has a nice hop profile - Appearance dark brown to almost black - Taste - Full bodied and great hop character and aroma - Roasted brown malts. Palate perfect - There is no other Double American Brown Ale that I can speak of so I have to rate this as perfect. phiconners (152) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Very nice strong brown ale. Pours dark with a fairly tall head. Flavorful, a bitter aftertaste but it works. For 10% it goes down easily. kassner (1692) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 22, 2012
Still not sure where to rate this beer. really big but amazingly smooth, I thought it might be their porter but both are listed. It has smoke but not much, not too nutty, and planty of malts.
