Nose is dough, florals, dried fruit, light yeast. Pale yellow pour with a white head. Easy palate, not much for flavor, dried fruit, yeast, and nice finish. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - JAN 5, 2013
22 oz. bottle. Pours a very pale light yellow with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, dry strong citrus and mild hay. Some light floral and citrus hops. Flavor is dry, with touches of fruity yeast and citrus. I get some juicyfruit gum, mild floral and herbal notes. Light body with zesty carbonation. Finishes light and dry, lots of citrus. Nice. drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 12, 2013

Thanks to tastybeer for sharing this to start off a low key tasting. It s not the most exciting beer. However as a light table beer that is easy going it is perfect. I will definitely continue to keep an eye on Pipeworks going forwards.
Aroma / Appearance - The fluffy white head and golden carbonated base reveal this to be a light session beer. The hints of brett in the lemon zest do the same.
Flavor / Palate - The solid kick of brett is carried by a malt wave. Warm applesauce is distracting for a second. The finish though more than makes up for its flaws. A (mostly) well rounded release I would love to see more breweries trying to do these light styles. With such low ABV and minimal ingredients it takes a skilled brewer indeed to pull it off.
Bottle from the guys. Thanks! Pours a lightly hazed pale gold with a fluffy white head. Nose is really nice. Light white pepper notes with some candy and herbal hops. Clean malt notes. On tasting, lightly sweet with a crisp finish. Belgian character is present but on the lighter end. Some vanilla and pepper. Moderate bitterness. Super drinkable and a great table beer.

Yellow cloudy pour. Some citrius. A touch of belgian yeast and spices. Very light. Has some funky sawdust taste on the back end that reminds me of a pilsner. Not my style. jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - MAY 22, 2013
22oz bottle poured into an english pint. Pours a slightly cloudy light gold with a huge white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, lemongrass, citrus and sweetness. Taste os spicy. Peppery and lightly bitter. Citrus and lemongrass with loads of spicy yeast. Light bodied with a thin and slick texture. Super fizzy carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, pretty good. . Batch 84. 22oz bottle from Binny’s Lincoln Park. Batch #69. Pours a cloudy pale gold colored body with a finger-width, frothy and creamy, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is Belgian yeast, a bready pils malt backing, and a few floral citruses. Some pepper, orange zest, and straw. Flavor is similar. Clean, bready pils malts with a somewhat peppery Belgian yeast, straw, and slightly zesty citrus peel. Finishes clean and dry with a light peppery bitterness, some florals, and a touch of citrus zest. Lengthy aftertaste following a light body and a somewhat lively, moderate carbonation. Overall, a simple and clean Belgian Ale, but really easy drinking and balanced. Nothing crazy, but really well done. Good beer. DrnkMcDermott (3175) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - JAN 14, 2013
Sample from bottle at the FoBAB Documentary party, poured by Drew Fox. I so wanted to stick with sessionable beers like this for the evening, but there were so many barleywines and impy stouts that followed. Pale lager color with a thin head. Sits really nicely on the tongue. Dry enough that I actually look for a little sweetness. Profile seems close to a Golden Ale style, but then the "single" is probably intended to be that way. A very pleasant way to start an evening. holdenn (2127) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 22, 2013
On tap at Goldencrust and Tap. Pours a hazed yellow with a white head. Nose of grass, hay, herbs, and lemons. Earthy grassy herbal flavors. Light malt with some herbal bitterness. This might be better on a hot summer day but it’s not bad during this long Chicago winter.
