Clearing a backlog, bottle from Chicago (Binnys). Jet black, looks oily. Solid thick imperial stout, lots of the requisite cocoa and chocolate flavours, roast, hint of something a little fruity, decent pine hop bitterness. Good. Renobob (2064) - Besançon, FRANCE - MAR 29, 2017

Bottled. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and licorice. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry and with bitter notes. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Impy indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 gnoff (11100) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 13, 2016

Black color, brown head. Malty, sweet, roasted scent and taste. Medium full mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.
Bottle:   Pours black, small frothy beige head, little lacing.   One roasty nose, subtle hop oils.   Smooth on the tongue, rich, roasty, with moderate hoppiness.   One word comes to mind, solid.   Simple Imperial Stout, but solid.   Could stand to be a bit thicker, but as is its fine.   Finishes roasty, a little acrid with some very minor tart dark pitted fruit notes.   Clean too.   Very nice example.   Notes of chocolate as it warms too!   Thanks Kevin!

Batch 635/636. Poured a dark brown, some haze look to it, bubbly tan head. Aroma of sweet malts, chocolate, black licorice, and clove hints. Flavor followed the nose and blended nice. Maybe a tad sweet, but overall very nice. Full body, thick texture, average carbonation, and some slight booze on the finish. Niko100 (3001) - Chicago, New York, USA - DEC 8, 2015
