Sampled from bottle @ Hey Julien is back and Dean’s floor is moist tasting. Clear amber color, medium sized off-white to beige head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, sticky resinous hops. Taste malts, hops, sticky resin, quite bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Typical US hoppy imperial amber ale. I like it. kermis (14478) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 11, 2015
Bottle at THT. Pours clear amber brown with a medium off white head. Aroma of rich caramel malt, overripe dark fruits, butterscotch, toffee and sweet malts. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. andyhwcinc (1884) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 23, 2015
Purchased in can form at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home while watching the Cubs on a late August Sunday afternoon, feels great. Happy that this stuff is now in cans! Appearance is a dark red with a thin white head. Aroma is a fantastic hoppy malty concoction. Taste goes down very well, not too hoppy but definitely present, smooth, easy drinking, very good stuff. fraternie (1011) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 23, 2015
Big and malty but balanced, with roasted caramel malts and undertones of banana bread and spice. Heat covered well, moderate hop backbone. cbfobes (2885) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - AUG 9, 2015
Chris shared this following the GTMW festival, pours a dark amber red with an off white head, aroma has a hint of citrus and tropical fruit but is well balanced, the flavor has a hoppy front end with a nice amount of fruit and citrus, nice stuff.

Fonefan 191214. Red amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, berries, malt, caramel. Flavour is alcohol, berries, caramel, malt, nutes. Full body. OK beer. edwardbass (858) - Illinois, USA - APR 24, 2015
Bomber, admittedly a bit old (from the clearance shelf - I just don’t like paying the big $$$ for Pipeworks bombers) but not overly so. Murky dark amber color with not much of a head. Aroma of wet brown paper towel, which was off-putting, but that was the low-point. Taste is typical red ale malt, citrus rind and grapefruit hops. Very nicely balanced. The bitter aftertaste lasts a very, very long time, clinging to your tongue. Palate is "thick" as expected from an Imperial ale. Extremely good. Batch 603 - Pours a deep dark red with an off white head. Aroma starts of with lots of malt and a sweet citrus smell. Taste starts off with piney, resin bitterness a lot like a DIPA. Overall a real good and hoppy ale.
