I was a bit disappointed. Smells totally like chai tea. Taste is a bit thin, heavy on the cinnamon. Tastes like Christmas. O.K. Beer.
Bomber.. thanks Joel! Poused near black with a ring of dark tan head. The aroma picked up cocoa and spicy tea with deeper cherry undertones. The flavor found lots of cocoa and lesser molasses with lightly smoky tea laced throughout. Medium-bodied with low-moderate carbonation.. solid. joet (2604) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - JUN 12, 2015
Minty, earthy, cinnamon, Mexican sugar, coconut, alcohol, phenol medicinal, dark, very dark, lightly sweet finish. Bizarre Tmoney99 (14374) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 12, 2015
Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted chocolate, vanilla, spice and alcohol aroma. Medium to heavy dark sweet toasted malt flavor with a medium to heavy dark spice sweet and small alcohol bite finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a solid beer. Benzai (15460) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2015
Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Joes. Opaque black color, average sized light brown head. Aroma is malts and very herbal / spicy. Taste also has malts and a lot of herbs and spices. Totally not my thing. Body and carbonation are fine but the beer just has way way way too much herbs or spices. DutchDrebus (5957) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2015
Bottle @ benzai. Black colour with a small beige head. Smells thyme, mint, cardemon, herbs, cassave chips. Tastes sweet, loads the of herbs, chocolate, sweet, cardemom, pepper, weird, actually not that bad.

22 oz bottle shared with Tmoney99 and the Fifty West guys. Pours dark brown to almost black in color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have tons of spices, cinnamon, peppercorns, some chocolate, light roast, hints of vanilla, the anise comes through, I got a hint of a minty character, a bit thin perhaps that was due to all the other stuff going on, decent, but I like their other stouts better. BeerBunker (965) - Burbank, Illinois, USA - APR 12, 2015
22oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a foamy brown head. Aroma is of toasted malt, vanilla, spice, and coffee. Lingering bitter coffee taste. Mouthfeel is sticky, but not overly thick. As it warms, a cola taste starts to come through. Enjoyable. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - OCT 29, 2014
Bottle at Butler's house. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is cardamom cinnamon chocolate roast. Flavor follows. Slightly tart/sour. Med bodied. Decent beer.

Bottle... Deep dark-brown pour with no head. The nose is of espresso-laced brownies soaked in weak chai tea. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. The flavor is a marriage of faint chai tea and milk chocolate. Remarkably well-balanced, although it does lean sweet – as it should - but not in a cloying way. More chai in the aroma and flavor would make this a world class beer. Bottle courtesy of ctipping and BBB63! jkwood04 (5448) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 19, 2014
22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, some spices and tea, light dough, hints of vanilla, and some caramel sweetness. Flavor the same. Average to smoother texture. A pretty good beer but a little weird.
