Bottle: Very dark pour, black center with a slight hint of brown at the edges; nice, foamy, light-mocha head on tap, long-lasting & chunky leaving good lacing behind. Aroma has notes of musty cherry jam & cherry marmalade with a chocolate candy bar underbody & hints of brown sugar rounding things out. Taste is a mixture of semi-sweet cherry jam & milky, melted chocolate. Some light roasted malt notes on the edges with hints of brown sugar, nuts, & dry cocoa dust. The cherry stays sweet & never gets medicinal, which is good. I enjoyed this one quite a bit, though it may be my personal least favorite of the Abduction series (so far).

Definitely Choco-cherry to the extreme. Not quite as heavy as one might expect. Mildly charred and dry and bitter. Fun beer.

Bottled. Has a strong stout aroma. Pours dark with no head. Has a big cholcolate taste. Dry aftertaste. A strong tart cherry taste that compliments the chocolate and toasty taste. Great imperial stout.

Sample at HMOG. Definite cherry and chocolate flavors. Just like it is named. Nice stout body behind the beer to carry the flavors. A little gimmicky but this is a fun try.

hopscotch (10708) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - FEB 15, 2016
Bottle... Pours black with a small, creamy, beige head. The nose features charcoal, ash, tobacco and a mildly fruity component. Full-bodied with tickling carbonation. The flavor is ashen, lightly acidic and mildly carbonic, accompanied by sweet and tart cherries, and a nice note of dark chocolate. Lengthy, tangy-sweet finish with hints of cherry and cardboard. Very nice overall. Bottle courtesy of the ever-generous BBB63!

pushkinwow (2692) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 22, 2016
Bottle shared at the 2015 Ottawa end-of-year gathering. A very dark Dr. Pepper pour with a light foamy mocha head. Up front a lot of sweet cherries, slightly earthy, vanilla, bitter chocolate and some oak. Moderate+ body, mild+ carbonation, sweet, roasted and boozy.

Boutip (6026) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 16, 2016
Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cough syrup and cherry syrup with light roasted notes is mildly enjoyable. Taste is a mix of cough syrup with cherry flavored syrup, quite a bit of residual sugar notes with some lactose. Body is full with creamy texture and good carbonation. Not a big fan of the cherry flavour in this beer.
