UPDATED: MAR 28, 2013 Gold orange pout. Didnt get much of the citruis I was expecting. I found this to have more floral than anything. Very bitter, wrecks tha palate but yet still smooth without any lingering bitterness. Was really looking forward to this and kinda dissapointed. I wish I could have tried fresh, it may have been much better, but I believe this is going on 3 or 4 weeks old which is the point that Zombie Dust goes from phenominal to average. Otherwise nothing stood out.
Tried again. Batch 110. Bottled this morning. Lots of Citra hops. Some pine a bit of dank. Lots of sweetness for a beer this style. Had right after zombie dust, this is a bit heavier, and much sweeter. bakebisbife (13) - - DEC 18, 2012
This beer lives up to the hype. Pillowy white head. Massive citrus on the nose. Everything you’d expect from a Citra IPA. Pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine. Lasting finish. The citrus character lends both sweetness and sharp bitterness, with a little tartness. Malt isn’t absent, but the hops run the show on this one. Fantastic. rateyourpoison (198) - chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 15, 2012
Any citra beer gets me pumped to begin with, so when i hearded the titans of hops over at Pipeworks brewed one up i was ecstatic. Aroma of tropical fruit some serious citrus with a vibrant and clear body and fluffy white head. Tastes unbelievable that citrus comes through strong but doesnt feel juicy or cloying. The medium body on the palate balance that mild fruity sweetness with a nice dryness. Another killer ipa from these guys. msante79 (2244) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - DEC 14, 2012
Bomber I found at Binny’s Niles. Aromas of grapefruit, orangey citrus, little pine, tropical fruit, dankness, and some faint malt behind all of the hops. Flavors of orange, grapefruit, bit of tropical fruit, juicy hop with some bitterness on the tongue, some malty sweetness, very faint ABV presence in the end. Mouthfeel is fine, but carbonation seems a bit low. Would have loved to have tried this a couple of weeks back when it was released as I have feeling it may have been epic. Still extremely solid Have love citra hops. BeerMeFitz (15) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 12, 2012

Bottle. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer and exceeded my expectations. cubs (10745) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 8, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2012 Bottle @ home, courtesy of TheAlum. Thanks Adam! Pours a touch hazy, orange appearance with a lasting, cream colored head. Spicy, huge grapefruit ctirusy, somewhat resiny, light ganja hoppy, very pleasant aroma. Moderate garlic, light onion, grapefruity, potent, fresh resiny hoppy, marijuana, somewhat citrusy flavor. Really nice stuff. Thanks Adam! vt3stick (103) - Chicago, USA - DEC 8, 2012

22oz bomber thanks to csteele2144, thanks Chris! Batch 54 opened up to celebrate my wife’s birthday, pours a nice golden orange with a thick white head and lacing through the entire glass, aroma is of straight up hop leaves and oranges, extremely fresh, the flavor has a ton of citrus and tropical fruit through out without it being too over the top and syrupy, still pretty light and enjoyable on the palate, this is tasty, real tasty. 2nd batch Bottle from WLV. Pours a hazy orange with a sticky offwhite head. The nose is sharply citra, tropical fruit, resin. Some alcohol is perceived as well from the nose. Perhaps a bit warm ferment? Hop forward with faint malt. On tasting, medium bodied with a big juicy hop profile. Moderately high bitterness with a dry finish. Tropical fruits and some booze notes. If it was a bit smoother, would be out of this world. As it stands, solid.
