Poured from a bottle. Nice citrus, pineapple, and slight pine. Orange breaking golden on the edges with a pillowy white head that laces healthy. Good amount of sweetness that turns to a nice dry and bitter quality for balance. Sammy (12995) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 8, 2015
Great display of citra hop. Bottle from Binny’s-Skokie. Great drinking, with citrus hop well tamed for a DIPA. drowland (9184) - Georgia, USA - AUG 5, 2015
2/20/15. Sampled during RBWG 2015. Orange pour with a small khaki head, mild lacing. Nice aroma, pineapple, grapefruit, mild dank, some caramel and sugar poking through. Okay flavor, bitterness present, some tropical fruit aspects, caramel, sugar, maltiness. Not bad. ARH (1139) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 30, 2015
UPDATED: JAN 26, 2016 22oz bottle poured into an IPA glass. The aroma is initially a strong herb and grass presence that fades into fruit stripe gum and other bright, sweet juicy tangerine and grapefruit notes with some mango. Late in the drink, the aroma turns to caramel as the fruit fades. It pours a brilliant amber with a slightly off-white, big foam head that has good retention and lace. The taste is a blend of Medium fruity sweet and a high, waxy bitter end with a light touch of sour. The texture is that of a heavy oil with a fuzzy carbonation and a medium full, bitter grapefruit rind and grass body with light notes of toast interspersed. The finish is crisp with a strong bitter pine and fruit crescendo that’s quick to clean leaving a fresh pine and spice along with a light bitter waxiness that lingers lightly and isn’t cloying. The aftertaste is long but light with notes of bread crust and wax. rosskyle (797) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 29, 2015
22oz bottle. Orange red color with a white head. Very hoppy citrus aroma. Heavy body. Hops and sweet malt flavor. Well balanced but flavor doesn't match aroma.

Very sweet apricot aroma. Pours a medium orange brown, slightly hazy, lots of bubbles and good sustained head. Did not let Binny’s let this get warm. I took the cold bottle from their shelf and brought it home. Really good flavor with some really sweet aftertaste. Hops and sweetness - oh boy. No wonder the salesman was surprised they had some in stock. It was fresh off the truck, and boy is it delicious. Bottle during RBWG Booze Buse 20/02/15 thanks to whomever supplied this juan.
Lightly hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is melon, orange, caramel malt, citric pith, hop jus.
Taste comprises pineapple, orange pith, light grapefruit, straw, earthy hop.
Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok DIPA but doesn’t really get out of first gear for me. AndyReynolds (1085) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 3, 2015
Bottle. Aroma is very grapefruit hops. I think I may have let this one sit too long. Strong malt backbone. Solid beer. aleigator (945) - GERMANY - MAR 2, 2015
Many thanks to Charlie for the bottle!
Yields a clear, dark orange color, with a bubbly, slim head.
The aromas are much sweeter than I expected, with ripe peach and mango, accompanied by dough malts, crowned by a whiff of zingy lemon. Malts support the sun ripened fruit character by providing a distinct biscuit quality. The hops push even a little further, adding red apple peel to the nose, together with glazed tangerine.
Tastes of sweeter malts, balancing the more and more noteable fruity hops, evoking flavors of peach, orange and tangerine. Slightly prickly, juicy peaches get accompanied by grassy citrus, adding a little twist to the sappy hops. Drinks very smooth, with a well fitting carbonation, and a prominent resinous, honeyed impact, enhancing the luscious character of the brew. A distinct biscuity malt sweetness is the harbinger for a citraic, dry bitterness, leaving a slick, slightly fruity aftertaste back on the palate.
