Taste from a bottle on the RBWG bus. Mildly hazy golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Dots and bits of lace. Bigger body. Smooth, kind of slick, lighter carbonation. Slick texture. Grapefruit citrus, mild grassiness, some zest. Bigger caramel malt. Nice hoppy heat on the finish. Solid imp IPA, bit sweet though. Christpuncher (3135) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 7, 2015
Nice a citrus flavored with a strong hopp flavor and bite. Slightly bubblegummy flavored and aroma. Pours gold in color with a thin white head. Had out of a bomber at home

Deep orange to red in color... Absolutely brimming with citrus and tropical fruit aroma, lots of mango, berry notes.... Flavor is more of the same, tropical fruits, citrus hops... Fairly dry and bitter too... Great IPA, ranks up there with the best

Medium-dark orange with lots of carbonation, head is two fingers. Grassy citrus aroma, some toffee. Flavor is bright, juicy citrus tang with a good helping of hop bitterness. Lingering semisweet finish. Terminus (3689) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 1, 2014

Bomber poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of straw, dank bud, grapefruit, grassiness, earthiness and a hint of lemon zest. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, dank bud, earthiness and light grapefruit with a smooth dry bitter lingering dank finish. From BInny’s in Buffalo Grove. Batch 503. Fresh! Pours a golden orange with a white head leaving streaky lacing. Aroma has fresh fruit, pineapples, heavy citrus, spicy pine and mangoes. There is luscious sweet fruits, pineapple, grapefruit, grapefruit rind, tangy pine and some chewy resin in the flavor. Very little evidence of any malt. Hot and peppery; perhaps too young. Medium bodied and sticky. Finishes fruity, and slightly more bitter than sweet in the end, on that bitter-sweet scale. A strongly hop-forward example, but - as I say when given an opportunity - who really needs malts anyway. 15.2 Possibly Pipeworks best IPA, but it owes it to the hop involved more than anything different done by the brewery. Tap at Backcountry in Boulder. Pours hazy orange with white head. Aroma is caramel, balanced for an IPA, pine. Taste is strong of pine, resinous, slightly thin. Alright. Salmoniform (1272) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - SEP 30, 2014
Poured from tap to glass at Backcountry in Boulder. Hazy orange hue with white head that dissipated to a ring. Aroma is melon, papaya, honey, floral, slight grapefruit, ethanol. Mouthfeel is a bit lacking with a medium light body and soft carbonation. Taste is sweet followed by a nice hop bitterness and an ethanol finish. Overall this was a bit hot & watery. jeremyh70 (1103) - Missouri, USA - SEP 12, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a nice white head and good lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit and oniony dankness. Taste has that nice dankness with tropical fruit and citrus. Aftertaste has a good amount of grapefruit bitter with some peppery spiciness. Finishes dry with some piney bitterness. Medium bodied with medium/high carbonation. Really good DIPA.
