Very sweet apricot aroma. Pours a medium orange brown, slightly hazy, lots of bubbles and good sustained head. Did not let Binny’s let this get warm. I took the cold bottle from their shelf and brought it home. Really good flavor with some really sweet aftertaste. Hops and sweetness - oh boy. No wonder the salesman was surprised they had some in stock. It was fresh off the truck, and boy is it delicious. Busko (9) - Keller, Texas, USA - NOV 28, 2012 does not count
Serving from bottle, the aroma is strong and inviting with tangerine, grapefruit and the dankest of weed. Malts are light to no presence and are buried beneath the hops. Good carbonation and lacing. As the beer warmed, there was little to no alcohol burn, awesome for a 9.5% abv. This is my ideal DIPA and one of the best I’ve tried in the Midwest. Poured into a snifter.
This is one of the best new beers I have had In a very long time!
A- pours a dark caramel with a white head. Lots of lacing remain on the glass.
S- biscuit, caramel, pineapple, grapefruit on the nose
T- grapefruit and pineapple with caramel and toffee. Big citrus and pine bitterness at the finish.
M- medium body and carbonation. creamy and smooth.
O- Pipeworks made another amazing dipa. Amazing citrus flavors!

It’s like a ninja eating an orange. In my mouth. Woody tropical citrus darkness, like cat piss in my basement. fuertecorn (15) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 23, 2012
It’s hard to go wrong with the auto-tune of hops but not everyone nails it this well.
Amazing nose full of fresh lively citrus and tropical fruit character.
Another perfectly attenuated imperial pale from pipeworks that is the perfect compliment to the aggressive hopping.
Moderately high carbonation level plays nicely resinous, somewhat sticky mouthfeel.

Bomber poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly cloudy, very dark orange with almost no head. Aroma of citrus and loads of tropical fruit. Taste is light bitter. Citrus and pineapple and tropical fruits. Wow this is good. Full bodied with a thick and sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, awesome. I could absolutely drink this everyday. Treebs (872) - , Illinois, USA - NOV 20, 2012
22 oz. bottle served in a Bell’s tulip. Batch # 54.
A: Pours a clear amber color with a light yellow head forming on the pour. It recedes slowly to a thin film and ring that leaves soapy lace down the glass.
S: Big bursts of citrus. Orange flesh, lemon peel, and sticky grapefruit. Some sweet bread malts and a touch of bitter resin on the tail end. This smells ridiculously good.
T: More grapefruit in the taste than the smell. Orange and lemon peel with some alcohol bite to it. There is a definite warming, but the booze and warmth doesn’t detract from the overall flavor profile. Some light bready malts with a little bitter green as well.
M: Medium bodied with a sticky and slightly oily mouthfeel, but it is surprising light on the finish with a high drinkability.
O: This is by far the best thing Pipeworks has pumped out. We all know hops are in their wheelhouse, but their use of the Citra hops really shined in this. Juicy, citrusy and pleasantly sweet. I’m sure I speaking for everyone that’s tried when I say this has to be bottled on a consistent base.

This beer lives up to the hype. Pillowy white head. Massive citrus on the nose. Everything you’d expect from a Citra IPA. Pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine. Lasting finish. The citrus character lends both sweetness and sharp bitterness, with a little tartness. Malt isn’t absent, but the hops run the show on this one. Fantastic. soulpolisher (33) - Missouri, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Nice clarity. Aroma is good and hoppy. Tastes great, not as bitter as some other Double IPAs. Fairly dry. Finishes clean. dionysian_son (277) - Colorado, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Beautiful golden pour with generous head. Citrus and floral nose with slight bitter hint. Great balance of sweet citrus hop with a back of toasty malt. burnt orange peel and grass hide any alcohol burn. Superb.
