Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, biscuit, toast, caramel and bread. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of coffee, chocolate and bread. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Nice. daje (4436) - NORWAY - APR 30, 2014
Aroma of roasted malt, wood, whiskey, vanilla, dark chocolate. Strong alcoholic whiskey taste with roasted malt and chocolate, fruity finish, with a robust roast and wood aftertaste. Beats the Danish Red Wine edition. tmoreau (4365) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - MAR 26, 2014
Shared bomber, poured to snifters, and displayed a darkest brown color, with a modest layer of tan head foam, and light dots & dashes of lacing. The nose was subtle, but noticeable enough notes of roasted malt, mocha, and vanilla. Medium bodied, with low carbonation, low hop bitterness, hidden alcohol, and pleasant sweetness into the finish. Not wowed, but decently drinkable. johnnnniee (4312) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 23, 2014
Bottle shared by Rob and Lisa, thanks for the opportunity.
Huge coffee and brown sugary roasted grain goodness. The sweetness compliments the coffee flavor very nicely. Great brew! Lowenbrau (4277) - Asturias, SPAIN - AUG 31, 2013

@ basunen: lite diskret doft av kaffesump men vilken härlig smak av stark kaffe och vanilj. Len och lång eftersmak. Sofistikerat.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a dark blackish color with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, espresso, some milk and dark chocolate. Flavor of coffee, cream, sweet chocolate notes. on tap at Stoutfest ’14 - really enjoyable beer but didn’t come off with strong coffee notes, lots of vanilla helping round it all out, thin body, minimal roast to it. nice beer. ansalon (3846) - Stockholm, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - OCT 18, 2013
Pours black as night with a small tan head. Swirling the viscous liquid around leaves some oily lacerations in the glass. Aroma is dominated by vanilla and coffee, with some hazelnut, chocolate, honey, dried dark fruit. Mouthfeel is quite thick and creamy. Taste is coffee, vanilla, honey, hazelnut, red currants, brown sugar. Aftertaste is a very nice blend of coffee and vanilla that lingers quite a while. Stellar.
