Black, Brown thick head. Smell is hoppy, and with some fruity coffee. Delicius coffe. Very fruity and light-roasted as mentioned. Slight vanilla, some Dark chocolate and nice roast in general. Not enough vanilla, but still really good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours pitch black with a brown head and strong aroma of coffee and espresso. Taste is strong as well, lots of heavy coffee and espresso with chocolate and roasted malt and a long, warming finish. Excellent brew with a lot of coffee flavor.

Ładne, czarniutkie i nieprzejrzyste, z wyraźnym aromatem kawy, takiej wyraźnie idącej w czerwone owoce. Do tego klasyka, czekolada i paloność, trochę słodyczy, trochę palonej goryczki na finiszu. Szkoda że wyłazi alko. Tak czy siak - bardzo dobre piwo.

Purchased at Binnys in Chicago, IL, enjoyed at a friends house while watching Anaconda, for some reason. Appearance is moderately thick pitch black with a rich frothy white head. Aroma its very bitter coffee and chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, very light sweetness. Taste is fantastic. Rich dark chocolate, hazelnut, and vanilla notes, utterly rich coffee profile, more of an espresso richness. Vanilla is pure and doesnt taste like extract was used, more like vanilla beans were integrated. This brewery does great things with imperial stouts.

pour is cola colored with caramel colored head. Nose is heavy coffee roast, light vanilla and a strange mix of olive and chocolate that doesnt go well together. Taste is a little better. More balanced, stronger chocolate fudge note with balanced coffee and hint of vanilla. Medium body and gentle carbonation with a linger coffee roast.

Bootle from trade. Pours a deep brown almost black with a scant tan head. Aromas of creamy vanilla coffee with dark fruits. Taste is lightly bitter and sweet. Flavors of iced coffee with vanilla flavor and whip cream. Not cloying, but still pretty sweet. Alcohol is well masked. Some dark fruit/twang, light tobacco. Finishes sweet and creamy. Pretty nice.

Bottle with Vincent and others. Pours black with thin beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, spruce, pine, and earthiness. Fairly sweet and a little hot with a bitter finish. A lot of hop flavor for a stout, balanced by the coffee.
